Education Loan Net/1File.org 1File.org Scam, ripoff, robbed Huntington Beach California Internet
1File.org offered me to consolidate my student loans, under the disguise of loan forgiveness. They filed a forbearance with Sallie Mae, my then loan service provider. They charged me a fee of $145 approximately for three months. Then, they said I would have to pay $39 to my new loan service provider FedLoan. I have been making the $39 payment every month and it shows as a withdrawal on my bank account as Education Loan Net, Huntington Beach CA. FedLoan has never received a payment and it appears as if my loans were on forbearance for a year. I have to start making payments to them, but I was never told where the $39 have been going to for the last several months. All of this sounded legitimate at the time and now I have wasted over $600. I would like to warn others and also attempt to get some resolution for myself.
