Edwards Movers provided a contract that stipulated that they would pack certain items. For these services, I was charged an additional $235. However, on the day of the move, they did not arrive with the packing supplies outlined in the contract. The items were packed in my own packing supplies, and the mattresses, which were listed to be packed in boxes (per the contract and per the salesman), were not packed or covered at all for the move. The driver even suggested that I call the storage facility on the delivery end to see if they could provide a plastic bag for the mattresses.

I filed a claim with National Van Lines and was told that the issue was with Edwards Movers. I tried calling Edwards Movers several times, but they did not return phone calls. I filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau and their response was that they had given me a flat rate, it was their choice whether the items were packed or not. According to the contract items to be packed were itemized and additional charges were assessed.

Bottom line: the customer service doesn't exist at Edwards Movers. They are not careful with your items and things will get damaged. Pick a company that stands behind their service and avoid Edwards Movers.
