Reno and Nevada already have a bad reputation in the national media; a talk with home insurers confirms people and businesses are fleeing Reno and Nevada. These shocking behaviors by Reno businesses and Nevada public employees give a further black-eye to Reno and Nevada which are increasingly becoming and known as A Blighted Ghost-town and State. Reno's Eldorado Hotel and Casino is just like the rest of Reno now; notorious for years for their bait-and-switch, extortion, blackmail, civil rights violations, fraud, income tax evasion, money laundering, abuses, perjury, and false documents, and yet have never been held acountable for their illegal and unethical behaviors due to corruption - they pay bribes to public employees. Like those at the Nevada AG and Washoe County DA.

First I really don't know where the previous response came from. I had to re-read the OP a few times to make sure I didn't miss something. Not once did I read where the person gave their age. 1997 was only 12 years ago. For example IF they were 21 when they first went there they are only 33 now. Even if they were 30 that would make them only 42 now. Hardly a case of "age discrimination". But even if they are in their 60's now, there is nothing that was reported that could be considered age discrimination. Second no where in the post did the person say they were hustled out of the door. Now, as to your "RipOff", there is none. In the eyes of any casino going once every 2 years is NOT a loyal customer, unless you are dropping several thousand dollars(we are talking 5-6 figures) per visit. The "loyalty" program you signed up for is basically a way to assign "comps" to people that gamble. The Front of the Line Privledge is a "comp", and probably required you do gamble at least several hundred dollars in your visit to get to that "plus" level. If this wasn't communicated to you, or you just didn't understand it that is another matter. Yes, this is the same even now in this economy, you can't just walk into a casino and expect to be showered with comps unless you have the $ to play. So don't expect your new Hotel to be any different when you go in another couple years.

THIS ECONOMY IS GOING TO GET REALLY,REALLY BAD--- SO BAD IN FACT THEY WILL BE COMPING ANYONE WHO IS ABLE TO GET ENOUGH MONEY TO GO THERE... SO FAR THEY AREN'T HURTING YET BUT THEY WILL BE MAYBE THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU THAT THEY DON'T WANT OLD PEOPLE LIKE YOU IN THEIR CASINO THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO APPEAL TO A YOUNGER,HIPPER CROWD. A LOT OF PLACES ARE... YOU NEED TO FIND THE AGE APPROPRIATE PLACES WHERE OLDER SOMETIME GAMBLERS LIKE YOU ARE WELCOME. I AM GLAD YOU LET US KNOW ABOUT THESE AGE DISCRIMINATORY PLACES. THERE SHOULD BE A LAW BUT SINCE THEY ARE A PRIVATE BUSINESS, THEY CAN DISCRIMINATE AGAINST WHO COMES IN THEIR PLACE. THEY HAVE TO BE LICENSED BY THE NEVADA GAMING COMMISSION OR WHATEVER THEY CALL IT THAT REGULATES CASINO GAMBLING. MAYBE YOU SHOULD COMPLAIN TO THEM THAT THIS HOTEL CASINO DISCRIMINATED AGAINST YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR AGE. I THINK THEY DO HAVE ANTI DISCRIMINATION LAWS THERE BUT BECAUSE I STAY THE HELL OUT OF NEVADA ON PRINCIPLE, I DON'T KNOW. YOU MIGHT TRY CALLING THAT COMMISSION AND FILING SUCH A COMPLAINT. AT THE LEAST YOU WILL GET THE ATTENTION OF THOSE WHO OWN THE HOTEL. I NEVER KNEW BUSINESS TO BE SO GREAT THAT A BUSINESSMAN WOULD TURN DOWN ANYBODY'S MONEY. WERE YOU POSSIBLY INTOXICATED AND THAT IS WHY YOU WERE HUSTLED OUT THE DOOR? SOMETHING IS NOT QUITE RIGHT HERE. DUDE, I WOULD ALSO TELL YOU TO SAVE YOUR MONEY. THIE ECONOMY IS GOING TO BE DOWN QUITE A WHILE!
