 there Is old nasty Women working In the place I believe she's the owner,



 I came over there 3 times each time she gave me different Price on the same pair of lasses,



1) as I know my Insurance paying for my Son special lenses in full  ( I believe Its called Polycarbonate ) she told me that I would need to co pay because Its not paying In full, I pay the "different" then I called to my Insurance  they tell me there Is no co pay.



2)  someone told me she Is in the business close to 20 years and she do not even have a License for optical   is that Possible ??????



3) the last time I came there I give her to fix my Glasses ( she never worn me if she brake It I'll be responsible )  she broke them, first she blame It on me that It was Broken in the first place then she say " I am not responsible for patient own Frame "   and she charged me $50 for another Frame.



                                  If you ask me  avoid the Place its is rip off

The insurance information sounds correct.  Polycarbonate is almost always covered for kids 18 and under because it's one of the safest lenses out there for children.  As adults, we don't get that kind of special treatment.  We still have copays for those lenses.  So she's probably right about that.  

And you have to take into account as well that just because your insurance is telling you one thing, she may be contracted with them for something else.  My shop will contract with insurances and sometimes people come in thinking they have a $100 frame allowance, but with our shop they actually have $140.  It just depends.  

In regards to her license, if your state is one that licenses opticians (mine is not unfortunately) and you feel like she isn't licensed, ask to see it.  Tell her to present it.  If she needs to be licensed and is, proving it should be no problem.

Breaking the frame...she should have told you before she even laid hands on it that if it broke, she wouldn't replace it.  We tell every single customer that.  If you didn't get your frames from our shop, we can't promise anything.  For all we know you may have had those frames 20 years and they're dry rotted inside.  We don't know all the time.
