Empress Hotel Terrible is way too gracious of a word for this Hotel New Orleans Louisiana
This hotel is disgraceful. In order to secure the room they make you fax in your reservation with your credit card information. This way once you arrive and see the accomidations you have no resource to cancel since your card has already been charged - NO REFUND POLICY.
Most hotels you are able to cancel or at least check out early. Not this one. Once you book for 3 days you are charged with no refund.
My review for this hotel is:
Terrible is way too gracious rating for this hotel.
If you enjoy, Spiders crawling on you in your sleep, Roaches, Black Mole, Continuously damp "wet" floors, pancake pillows, stinky comforter on a springy full size mattress, space heater that is either on or off (No Thermostat), NO door knobs, no phone, 9" TV with no remote, not to mention the view out of a 1 1/2' x 1' window, then this place is for you.
IT SHOULD BE CONDEMED!
NO WAY - DO NOT STAY HERE
During our stay my friend got very sick. I know it was because of the filth we were in. The comforter on the bed was unexplainable - dried up you know what. Grimmy floors, etc. This place is just plain disgusting.

They have been reported to the New Orleans Department of Health and will be investigated.
