I signed up on this website in 2008. The customer service rep I spoke to was very pushy, she called me at least two to three times a week before I signed up to make sure I was actually going to sign up. I kept telling her I felt uncomfortable with this, and she kept dismissing all my worries. I was young at the time (24) and had just gotten out of a very bad relationship, which they used to make me feel like I needed to get out and sign up for their website right then to help me move on. I was told there were many men on the site my age, and that it was very easy to meet people. I noticed that the profiles and pictures never seemed to change, even after all this time. I tried unsuccesfully to get my money back. They told me that it was like buying furniture, and that if I had bought furniture I couldn't return it and get my money back because I decided I didn't want the furniture anymore (which is a lie) After signing up for the website, no one ever spoke to me (They said they would be helping me pick profiles and teach me to talk to people) The money I used ($500) was an inheritance from my grandfather who had passed away shortly before I signed up (they also used this, they told me he'd want me to be happy)

I have been a Christian since I was 16. I love God, and I love my church. I have always been on the lookout for sheep in wolves clothes, and it makes me dissapointed in myself to see that I got snowed. I despise these "christians" who use the name of Jesus to rip people off. I really want my money back, and I would be grateful for any help.

Take a lesson from this.  Some of the greatest evil is done by "christians".  You need to forget all that silly christian nonsense and learn to be a good person and deal with problems yourself.

In general, if someone advertises they are christian, you better look for a scam or watch your back.
