We contracted with this company because of there claim to 20 plus years in the marketing industry. We were pressured into rushing our decision all monies overnight because they indicated we would be represented at a trade show that was a few days away. They have admitted that we were never represented at any trade show. We were told they had 300 marketing executives that may be interested in our product after they viewed our product and website. After the media fax was sent out the only phone calls we received was from people who also wanted more money that was similiar to marketability. They indicated they secured 2 zero cost joint ventures for us when infact these are the same joint ventures for everyone. The national comcast tv are spots you can buy for $30.00 each. We paid over $9000.After speaking with comcast we learned there is no way to track the viewing audience however marketability dba etvglobal media indicated there was as many 5 million viewers x10 airings. The call center we paid for was marketability and not a dedicated call center. Mike Hughes said he is relearning the advertising industry and we are now only an experiment. He stated no one knows what works. The radio ads he secured are a friend of his of 20 years. They blackmailed us into signing a document stating we were happy with there services or they would not continue with the production of the commercial. The quality was so poor the local tv station refused to air. Do not do business with this company. The marketing tools he offers are the same you find on line. The production was so poor we could have produced ourselves. The contract stated we would have a commercial with 60 days and it took almost 4 months.Marketability admits we did our part and did so very well. The $9000.00 we gave to marketability did not result in one sale for us.This company has completely misrepresented themselves and there ability to help you market your product. We have lost valuable time and money working with this company who has changed there name 3 times

Leigh is a Ripoff The only complaints we've had from a client stating that our networking services were too expensive came from a client who didn't actually go on the road to the trade shows with us so they had no way of seeing how hard were were working for them. Trade shows are often difficult to get to, expensive to stay at and gain access into, and are long hard work to cover. So if a product promoter has a product like Mumoocie that is not well received by buyers and media executives at trade shows the product promoter can get upset (naturally), but some choose the wrong target to criticize for their product's rejection even though they should know better. Apparently they don't know that broadcasters routinely use "Air Names" and even Wolfman Jack did it. I also understand that $9,000 may seem like a large amount of money (and it is), but only if our networking efforts for their product were not successful, even though other clients of ours using our exact same networking program are successful and some are very, very successful, even as high as $200 million in sales. If you break $9,000 down over 12 months and consider the number of employees involved and number of trade shows covered by them the price actually is quite low cost (only about $123 per employee per month). But to avoid any possible appearance of impropriety we are now offering our same $9,000 media/marketing trade show networking services at no upfront cost other than a commission of product sales. We are raising our commission levels (due to risk/reward) and tightening our product promoter screening out process even more. We fully support open and fair debate regarding any reasonable media marketing philosophy but the Ripoff Report does not offer a fair debate (just look at it's name). In marketing there are never black and white answers because human beings are so unpredictable. For example, Readers Digest magazine describes people who resort to hate sites like this as "Cowardly Creeps Behind Keyboards". So I am stating on the public record that I have filed my own report about Leigh Woods and Mumoocie, Inc. on this very site because turn-about is fair play. So if you wish to learn more - SEARCH: "Leigh Woods, Mumoocie" on this site so SHE can see how it feels. If she wishes to continue her desperate conduct I will provide an unprecedented view into the true minds of Mumoocie, Inc. because some people need "Dr. Phil" more than they need us. Thousands of product promoters have understood that $9,000 spread over a year is a bargain to gain targeted access to the KEY buyers and media executives. Leigh Woods probably earned that much from every single "zero down mortgage" she sold to another unsuspecting home buyer. Purchase Orders are the goal but feedback about what product changes may need to be implemented to make their products marketable is the next best thing. But NOT EVERY product promoter is a savvy enough to recognize the enormous win from this intangible benefit. Contact us to see if your product qualifies for our trade show networking on a commission only basis. Thank you.

He so kindly provided my home phone number and address so please feel free to call me as I have gathered quite a bit of information about Michael Bernard Hughes whose home address is 1520 Rancho View Dr Lafayette Ca. I have also obtained previous unsatisfied clients of his and am willing to pass there phone numbers out as well. Check out the numerous rip off reports which used to be marketability. Etv Global Media no longer advertises his name but shows his wifes name who goes by Nancy Nicora and Nancy Williams. This company is only slandering us because we reported then to the Better Business Bureau. They have never purchased our product and have no idea or experience using our product since they are not clients of ours.

Leigh Woods, Mumoocie, Ripoff Report Leigh Woods C/O Mumoocie Sleep Pillow 4832 Quail Canyon Drive Charlotte, North Carolina 28226 Email address: [email protected] Phone: 704-341-8478 Thank you for reading the other side of the story. Because of the nature of the Rip Off Report, Leigh Woods does not need to provide proof of, or validation of, her complaints. Unlike with the Better Business Bureau, with the Rip Off Report there is no one to investigate Leigh's complaint for accuracy and legitimacy. She can basically say whatever she'd like to about our company, no matter how untruthful. Our company deals with product inventors, developers and promoters who are looking to make money by marketing and selling their products. It's the simple truth that not every product out their can be successful and make millions of dollars. Unfortunately, rather than looking at their product, sales pitch or price point as being the cause of their product's failure, they look at us as the culprit. Much like how a dating service provides you with exposure to a group of potential mates, but can't guarantee that one of them will be the man, or woman, of your dreams, our company provides exposure for products to a large group of potential buyers, marketers, advertisers, etc., but we can't guarantee that they'll want to work with your product, OR that they'll be able to help sell millions of dollars worth of your product. Ms. Woods' is just one of our many clients, an unfortunately she is one who has chosen to blame us for her product's lack of success.19 times out of 20 times, I hear my clients gush over how much they love working with my key staff especially Olivia and Sean.I get enormous satisfaction in hearing their updates as they're marketing progresses. When problems come up we discuss strategies to change their sales pitch or their product offer collaboratively. They ask me very good questions about marketing strategies, coaching and the changing marketplace.I enjoy working with them and listening to their successes, but also mentally holding their hand listening to their failures and mistakes too and we discuss what we can all learn from them. Working with Ms. Woods and her partners was a completely different experience. Month after month, we worked as professionally as possible with this person but no matter what we did for her it was never "right" in her mind, even though she had never marketed a product successfully herself. Below is a point-by-point response to Leigh's complaint. Without looking at the contract that she signed with us, being a part of the many conversations we had, and seeing the numerous emails sent back-and- forth, you can not fully understand the inaccuracy of her statements but we have tried to provide as much "proof" as possible through this forum to defend our position and back up our statements. We contracted with this company because of there claim to 20 plus years in the marketing industry. * It is not a claim, but actual fact. We have been in business since 1988, which you can verify through the Better Business Bureau. We were pressured into rushing our decision all monies overnight because they indicated we would be represented at a trade show that was a few days away. They have admitted that we were never represented at any trade show. * We attended and represented their product at the National Association of Broadcaster's trade-show in April 2008, 11 days after receiving their payment. We can't MAKE anyone hire us, but we did tell them that if they wanted us to represent them at the upcoming trade-show, they needed to come on board prior to the start of the trade-show. We did in fact represent them at numerous trade-shows, and even have video footage of us with their product at a trade-show. We were told they had 300 marketing executives that may be interested in our product after they viewed our product and website. * As our contract states, and as it was explained to Leigh and her partners, we represented their product to over 300 marketing executives in order to find companies that might be interested. We never stated that all of those 300 were interested. After the media fax was sent out the only phone calls we received was from people who also wanted more money that was similar to marketability. * Since the companies that we represent our client's products to are not affiliated with us, we cannot vouch for the type of response they will have, nor the way they would be interested in working with our clients. Our goal is to find low cost, or even zero cost joint ventures for our clients, but that is not always how a company can work with certain products. They indicated they secured 2 zero cost joint ventures for us when in fact these are the same joint ventures for everyone. * We did secure 2 zero-cost joint ventures through 3rd party companies, and yes, we have secured similar joint ventures with these companies on behalf of other clients. It's not unusual for some of our clients to work with the same companies. The national comcast tv are spots you can buy for $30.00 each. We paid over $9000. * They paid $7,490 for our marketing and networking services, not for the production of a commercial or tv airings (which was one of the joint ventures). This joint venture was a result of our marketing and networking services, which is what they paid for. After speaking with comcast we learned there is no way to track the viewing audience however marketability dba etvglobal media indicated there was as many 5 million viewers x10 airings. * We gave them an estimation of the viewing audience, which was provided to us by Comcast. The call center we paid for was marketability and not a dedicated call center. * We are not open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are not equipped to handle incoming orders so we don't provide that service. The call center was a 3rd party telemarketing company located in Colorado and paid for by Market-Ability. Mike Hughes said he is relearning the advertising industry and we are now only an experiment. He stated no one knows what works. * Mike Hughes acknowledges stating he re-learning the advertising industry right along with the President of NBC TV in New York City who just accurately stated "we can take everything we have learned over six decades of broadcasting and throw it out the window". If marketing is evolving and if a marketer is unwilling to evolve to prosper as Ms. Woods states, then she will not prosper. The radio ads he secured are a friend of his of 20 years. * We have been in business for 20 years, and have worked with many people over that time that are now considered friends, as well as business associates. They blackmailed us into signing a document stating we were happy with there services or they would not continue with the production of the commercial. * We are an honest company and always fulfill our contractual obligations. We do ask clients for feedback through a questionnaire to make sure that we have in fact fulfilled our obligations since we have an irrevocable right to cure any actual lack of performance. Ms. Woods signed our questionnaire that we fulfilled all obligations to her complete satisfaction. The quality was so poor the local tv station refused to air. * If the quality was poor, that might have been due to the images they provided the production group to be included in the commercial. On the other hand, we were able to successfully air the commercial through Comcast, a reputable cable company, and were not notified by them that the quality was too poor to air. Ms. Woods may also not be aware that a commercial must be in a broadcast quality format, which is what we provided to Comcast, and not a viewing only DVD. Do not do business with this company. The marketing tools he offers are the same you find on line. The production was so poor we could have produced ourselves. The contract stated we would have a commercial with 60 days and it took almost 4 months. * The commercial production did take longer than anticipated, primarily due to multiple reshoots that they requested, which the production group did for free although not contractually obligated to. Marketability admits we did our part and did so very well. The $9000.00 we gave to marketability did not result in one sale for us. *As much as we might believe in a product, and were assured over and again by the client that they had done their research and that the product should sell well, we cannot anticipate the response that the product will receive by both media executives, and consumers. The client's sleep pillow is perceived as a luxury item that is expensively priced, which might be one reason why there was a lack of response. *Communication with Leigh and her partners was very difficult at times. There were numerous occasions where they mis-read information and told us that we had written one thing, when in fact we had written something completely different, and had to re-forward the original passage to them to back up our statements. It would be a lie on our part to say that they had done their part and did so very well. This company has completely misrepresented themselves and there ability to help you market your product. We have lost valuable time and money working with this company who has changed their name 3 times * Over the past 20 years we have changed our company name twice, as you can see on our profile on the Better Business Bureau. Times change, as has our business. We are trying to keep ahead of growing trends, and have occasionally changed our company name to convey additional services that we are providing and a new direction that we're moving in. 20 years ago we started out as Publicity Express, which was a magazine read by TV and Radio Talk Show hosts. Fifteen years ago we changed our name to Market-Ability when we evolved into affiliate networking for joint ventures. Now that the media industry has evolved and more potential joint venture partners want to see a successful sales track record in this economy, we have evolved into Video Commerce Infomercial marketing. We are evolving to keep ahead of growing video trends and convey a new direction that we're moving in with low cost video commerce. I believe you will discover that most businesses that have been open successfully for as long as we have changed their company name at least once, if not more! "It may not be good news - but its good to know". Google Analytics This Google quote demonstrates that savvy marketers understand that marketing is a process of "test, observe, adjust, expand". Mature individuals understand that every problem is an opportunity but only if you force yourself to look at it that way and this complaint is one of those opportunities because it is completely unfounded for that and many other reasons. In our contract we offer all of our clients free mediation with a neutral third party professional in the event of a dispute or problem. But rather than notifying us that she was dissatisfied with our services, (they actually signed our check-off sheet that everything we did was satisfactory) or asking for free mediation, Ms. Woods chose instead to air her complaint through this forum. Instead of giving us a change to remedy the situation, and come to an amicable resolution, Ms. Woods decided to bully us into giving her a refund by posting this slanderous report. Ask yourself this question. What kind of person would choose to do that? Someone with a legitimate complaint? Or someone with no basis to their complaint or interest in addressing it in a professional and reasonable manner as we offered. Thank you
