Eye Restore Today Scam - Free Bottle gets you billed $85.95 Las Vegas NV Santa Anna CA Nevada
Thought I was getting an offer from Amazon to try this product "Free" if I paid shipping (around $5.00). Great, got the "Free" product followed a week later by a bill on my debit card for $85.95. Trying to call them, been on hold for over 10 minutes already to demand my REFUND.
I DID NOT ORDER this crap! Their advertising is extremely misleading, nowhere did I ever see this fine print! Even worse is that you would ASSUME the additional $85/$89 they just billed you would get you a new bottle of cream - but No!!!! Like you paid shipping for the sample and rolled into a subscription for a monthly supply. No!!! I was billed $174 for the SAMPLES ONLY. There is nothing else coming in the mail! They make their living by fooling you into signing up for this payment that you didn't know you signed up for!
Finally they answered phone after 12 minutes, was given a hard sell "NO REFUNDS YOU SOULD HAVE READ YOUR PAPEROWORK BETTER" lady, had to insist half a dozen times to get her supervisor on the phone; six minutes on hold so far waiting for the supervisor...9 minutes on hold 2nd time, still waiting...
Just spent the last 13 minutes with another person insisting they cannot help me and saying there is no supervisor above her; she offered the 30% refund others have mentioned, then a 50% refund, kept insisting there is no supervisor above her available, I kept arguing for my 0 refund..... after what amounts to a solid HOUR on the phone (with my battery dying) I finally had to sell out for a 75% refund and a few polite but choice words about her and her company's delight in ripping people off for a living.
DO NOT do business with this company!!! Im not sure how I got offered this through Amazon, but Amazon needs to get their name off this scam!
Last advice: hold out long as you can for the most refund you can, then go around to sites like this one and others to report the scam!
