Fairview Ridges Hospital ripoff evil dirt bags mistreated and ripped off victimized many consumers Burnsville Minnesota
My Mother, presented to the ER complaining of shortness of breath. She was a stage 4 CA patient. It was determined that she was having an anxiety attack and that she actually hyperventellated. The DR would not release her because he said she had an "abnormal" EKG. I advised him that she had had a valve repaired as well as a hole repaired in the 70's and that her EKG was always abnormal. He said he wouldnt release her until the next morning when he could get some test results. I and my Mother finally agreed. The DR was instructed that under NO circumstances could my Mother have Xanex, morphene, or several other drugs, including adavan because of past history of adverse reactions.
The next morning I went to the "hospital" and saw her in the CCU.She was acting really spaced out etc. I asked what the matter was and they informed me that she had had another panic attact but that theyu gave her Xanex. I asked about this being in the chart not to give and it was. Rick, the nurse, said they didnt have it highlighted though, so they didnt notice it!!!! I raised hell and reiterated what she was not supposed to have. She was not in any condition to be released because of the drug being given. On Sun nite, at 3 am, I called regarding her condition and was told that she had additional panic attacks, but that they gave her morphine to keep her down. She was actually given multiple doses of morphine and her condition deteriorated quickly. Her Drs. at the Parker Hughes Cancer Center told me to have her transferred before they kill her. I did that but had to have a full time nurse after her discharge from the 2nd hospital. She died 15 days later. The idiots at the Fairview Ridges Hospital stole the last 15 days from me because of overdosing her on morphine. She couldnt talk and was very incoherant after that. I never was able to tell her "goodbye" and my sister and her son never got to say goodbye either.The Coroner of Dakota County wants me to file a complaint with the licensing officials against the Dr, nurse, and hospital. I am going to do that but I wanted to warn all of you to STAY AWAY FROM FAIRVIEW RIDGES HOSPITAL !!!!
