I bought a used car from Flowers Motors Corporation in Montrose, Colorado. The salesman assured me of the excellent reputation of this family owned business with 25 years in the valley. Therefore they only sold quality used cars and they stood behind their cars.
I was back in a week with transmission, link-rod and strut problems. The salesman and sales manager never showed up for our meeting as I waited 2.5 hours for the service department to evaluate the car.
The service manager told me while these issues were known when the car was sold they were not fixed because they were too expensive for the sales price. I did pay the blue book value for a retail value car in excellent condition and the repairs will cost more than the purchase price of the car.
Netting it out for me, he told me it was an 'as is/ warranty and therefore could nothing for me.
My suggestion to you.. buyer beware!
