In 2006, we attended a sales seminar that we were invited to in Mississauga, ON. My husband and I went in with an open mind, but we decided this wasn't for us - 4 hrs later, we were shuffled from 1 table to the next, with Managers, etc, speaking to us - very high pressure environment and sales. Short of being handcuffed, they would not let us leave without buying the package. They through in a cruise that we were not able to access either.
We ended up purchasing the smallest package - Within 10 days (which was the allotted timeframe to get a refund), I called, I emailed, I tried to login to no avail. - there was always an excuse - Finally we drove the 1 1/2 hrs to Mississauga again and demanded our money back - they would not do it - they added freebies to our package instead - we had to leave without our money - Total of $1900.
To sum up - we were never able to access the website services, or the Customer Service phone line - there was always an excuse about our passwords not being correct or that we needed to speak to a different Customer Service person that didn't seem to exist -
I tried for 1 year to hound them, to no avail.
In 2010, having a bad day, I sent an email once again to my contacts at Fun For Life Club - 1 bounced back, but 1 went through - and then I received an email a few days later from one of the sales people that no longer worked for the Company but would try to get me some info -
And then, Aprill 2011, out of the blue - Fun for Life Club in Las Vegas, Nevada has my name and number asking for more money - monthly fees that have not been kept up to date - "why would I want to lose my initial $1900 investment ?? Just give us more money "
Whatever... I told Kyle "NO", he was going to drop some of the fees and give me a great deal - $149 billed out on Paypal - He was very rude, so I hung up - since then he has spoken to my husband and just got off the phone with me again - he finally ended the call saying I was pouting, and couldn't recognize a great deal, and was very sarcastic, telling me I was "special alright". I told him not to call again and I hung up -
So, be aware everyone - Fun for Life Club is up and running again out of Las Vegas and they want more of your money !!
