Gadget Circuit Sold me a gray market flash Somerset New Jersey
I purchased a Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT from Gadget Circuit. These units sync with each other. When I purchased another unit from a local authorized Canon dealer, the 2 units would not sync. Come to find out, Gadget Circuit sent me a gray market product that is not even authorized to be sold in the US (I contacted Canon directly for this information). Within minutes of contacting Gadget Circuit they conveniently changed the description of the product on their website to say "import". They refused to allow me to return the product because I was past my return time. This is a $500 flash! It was a few months before I had the money to buy another one, so I didn't get a chance to see if the sync feature worked. But if the sync feature is listed in the product description I should be able to trust that the product works as listed.
