The pumps here are SUPPOSE to be inspected every 18 months unless someone files a complaint, then they're suppose to be inspected within a week or ten days. File the complaint. Local tv station did their own inspection and 25% of the stations they inspected weren't legal. The way they inspect them is they fill a 5 gallon tank and the pump can't be off by more then a couple of tablespoons. THAT'S the legal limit here.

Dept of Weights and Measures was contacted via an email complaint form and telephone message right before I posted this ripoff report. I will update this report once I hear back from them.

In case that doesn't post, just google "nj weights and measures" and it should be the top result.

You may want to call or write the local or state department of weights and measures where this took place. Look on the pump for a sticker that shows the pump calibration and it will tell you who did it (local or state) and they can look into the situation further. I'm in Illinois and pumps here all have that type of sticker and traveling for work, I have seen this on pumps in other states.
