Recently Bob Lauder partners with Patti Diamond update their report regarding my complaint. They mentioned another entertainer. Which this report does not reflect him. WOW, it seems by their own omissions they have done this before with other! entertainers. I would run from this company.

OK folks, Just so we're all clear on this, "Mike" is, in reality, "Curtis Eugene Lovell II" If you check this report and "Mike's" rebuttals to report #299358, you'll find that both are "Mike LA, California U.S.A." who first is an "Ex-Employee", then suddenly an "Employee" who hires Curtis. His improper use of grammar and gross misspellings are evident in both those and the report he filed against us. This all started in 2007 when we contracted Curtis Eugene Lovell II to perform for a High School assembly in South Orange County, California on October 24, 2007. This school is a client who has used our services numerous times and continues to do so. To begin with, Curtis violated the terms of our contract when he decided to change the illusions he had contracted for, and contacted the client directly instead of going through Gate Crashers. Here's a quote from the contract he signed, "Any and all changes to the originally agreed upon performance shall be submitted in writing to Gate Crashers for approval. Under no circumstances shall the artist contact the client regarding these changes unless approved in writing by Gate Crashers Entertainment." In all contracts is an "Acts of God" clause. This is important because as we neared the date of performance, it was postponed due to the raging wildfires in the area. The school was closed, 900 students were in emergency shelters and some students lost their homes in this tragedy. The event was rescheduled to Halloween morning. All of our performers agreed except Curtis. He said he had tickets to fly to San Francisco in the afternoon but was available for the morning job. However, he refused the job stating that he didn't want to work on Halloween, since it was his "favorite holiday". He then demanded to be paid. We explained to him that he hadn't worked yet and therefore could not be paid, but as a courtesy, we offered him 2 other performance dates with the same client. Again, he refused the dates and demanded to be paid immediately. Curtis then bombarded Gate Crashers with threatening emails (I have them all) and threatening voice mails, (I have the MP3's if anyone's interested) He said he would do everything he could to damage our reputation, not only with our clients, but chambers of commerce and our talent. It got to the point where we had to threaten legal action to get him to stop. I also checked with the Franklin County Municipal Court in Columbus, Ohio at "http://www.fcmcclerk.com/pa/pa.php" as suggested in report #299358 and looked at their public records. If you go there you'll find that Curtis Lovell has had no less than 11 lawsuits filed against him by individuals and companies. Furthermore, the judgments ALL went to the plaintiffs totaling over $20,000 dollars. If you don't believe me, go to the link, enter Curtis Lovell, and see what you get. It's in the public record. I didn't check Los Angeles' court records because quite frankly, he's not worth the $4.95 to get access. We have been in this business for nearly 20 years and have never had a problem with a performer like this. This guy is poison. Hide your wallet. I invite any and all questions regarding this matter.
