For some reason GE Capital is having a real hard time processing my payments lately, nd the only reason I can think of is to get me to pay late fees. I am human and I know mistakes happen, but when they keep happening for no reason it becomes something more than negligence.

I have been paying my account online for some time now, but about a month and a half ago I found I was not able to log on to make payments. I was informed that my logon was no longer valid, and to call a phone number. That number was 1 877 295 2080. That number eventually connects you to an overseas call center, where I was told that my log in was fine, and not really helped at all.

After not being helped I called GE Capitals phone number that allows you to pay your bill over the phone. You can use that same phone number I listed above and select the pay by phone option. I went through all the menus and made a payment that was confimed by the automated system. I would say about a week later I had noticed that the phone paymenet had not cleared my account. I then began checkeing daily to see when it would clear, and it had been about two weeks before I decided it wasn't coming out, and to try something else. I mean GE is a big company and it must be my fauly right, I must of messed up my computer logon, and also messed up the phone payment even though the payment was confirmed via the telephone system.

I then get a postal money order and mail it with my bill statement stub directly to the payment address on the stub. I have never done this before as I always pay online, but I was very careful to fill out the payment stub as directed, and mailed it to the PO BOX shown on the stub. The address was as follows

GE Money Bank

PO Box 960061

Orlando Florida 32896

I mailed out this payment seven buisness days before the payment would be late. I told my self that there would be note way that the payment would not take that long to go from Pennsylvania to Florida. I then forget about the whoel affair as I am busy with work and I still have a little bit of trust that people and buisnesses are not totally corrupt or innept, as the payment was sent. Cut to today when I remember to check my account.

I am very suprised to find a 35 dollar late charge, and no payement processed for the money order I had sent. I count back on my fingers from when I mailed it out, I confirmed it was 7 business day from PA to FL. That is insanity. So it goes from me not being able to log on my online account to make a payment, to making a payment over the phone with a confirmation, to mailing the payment with a postal money order with seven buisness days to spare, and after trying all three of those avenues the payment is still not with them.

The other issue I have with them is after all of this and calling the overses call center again to find out I am a deadbeat and I'm not paying them, I check the website again to try and log on through the internet. The website tell me that my account is not registered, and I am a first time user??? So I go through the process of registering the account just as if I opened it. None of my bank information that was saved on the other many payments I had made with them was on the site. Three minutes of clicking through the day after my bill is considered "late" and I am back to being able to make online payments. There are way too many variables here to seem like this is one big coincidence.

Today is the day that the payment is considered late, so would I be considered a cynic if I would nt be completely suprised if the paymenet is taken out tommorow? Something stinks.
