About two months ago my family and I were looking for a vacation home in florida for my dads birthday on booking.com . we stumbled across a vacation home for paradise palms resort. Through booking I was notified that I couldnt pay them directly and that I would have to pay any payments to a third party (CVH Homes INC) with a supposed manager name George Gomez/ Jorge Gomez. He took a deposit from my account of 242.50 . So after a week or two passing by I contacted him to let him know that we wanted to go ahead and pay the remaining balance of 560.93. So I gave him my bank info and he kept saying that the payment wasnt going through because the account information wasnt correct but i know for sure that it was because it was the same account information that I provided for the deposit so then I asked if we could just change the card information to another card so we changed it to my dads card. He had me to go to this website to pay called DWALLA to make the last payment but he said again that the payment wasnt valid and that the only way we could pay was to do it through western union which i have the receipt for. so i did as told .
On the day of on our way to the resort I recieved a call around 5 from booking saying that we could no longer stay at the resort that we booked because the manager GEORGE GOMEZ decided not to honor our stay. I called him and he said that he overbooked the resort and that booking would find us somewhere else to stay. a lady did find us another house through air bnb but my dad still had to pay the money all over again for the house so we paid twice and I asked the man to refund our money back on friday and its monday but I have yet to recieve any money in my account.

I am writing again to state that the report I filed was from a huge misunderstanding. At that moment I was highly upset and alot of times when a person is upset it is easy for them to act on something without thinking it all the way through. Mr Gomez have reached out to me to make the situation at hand better in any way possible that he could and I am more than satisfied with the outcome . I honestly wish that the original report could possibly be taken down but if not I want poeple to know that he is a good person/man and he really had my best interest at heart on accomodating my and I while on our vacation in Florida.
