Gil Ramirez Properties rented us a building in 2006 for our automotive shop. They took a deposit of $1800.00, and promised us everything was ready. We were shut down 48 hours later due to the fact they had not secured a certificate of occupancy. We were out of business for almost 2 weeks after that.
Months later, the cement in our garage collapsed under our two post auto lift. This caused a customers truck to fall and almost killed our owner Mr. Arboleda. There was also $4000.00 damage to the customer's vehicle we had to pay out of pocket. I called Gil Ramirez office daily for two weeks and no one did anything until I sent a letter of intent to sue. Another week went by, and finally they repaired the concrete, but caused a severe financial loss totalling $10,000, not to mention the near-death experience.
Gil Ramirez Properties aka Pavillion Development, sold our building to another landlord and did not give him our deposit of $1800. We have a copy of the cancelled check which proves it was cashed and what bank and organization it went to. After 1 month of calling and asking nicely, they decided to set up bogus appointments and "forget" about them. It is their plan to steal our money and commit fraud against our company and also our new landlord.
I DO NOT recommend anyone deal with this company, they run back to Mexico and hide as soon as legal proceedings are initiated, They are very dishonest business people!
