Complaint Review: Global Floor Designs - El Dorado Hills California

I will keep this brief:

Global Floor Designs ( Licensed since 09/2013).  They claim been in business since 1997.  Maybe they were working unlicensed work which is a violation of CA contractor Law.

Claims about his "partnership" with a Mr. Larsen is a complete fabrication and its not based on evidence.  There is ZERO evidence through the California Secretary of State's office nor the contractor License Board that there is some type of "official" partnership.  I cannot even find this "legendary"/licensed Larsen guy with over 50 years of experience on any type of official State database.  

Mr.  Hunt was n a huge hurry to finish the job and brought in his own very "independent" inspector named "Mr.Larsen" who showed up unannounced and "inspected" our flooring and found no fault.

I can go on and on, but my arguments are based on EVIDENCE which will hold up in a court of law.

To whom it may concern,

My team and I have just reviewed this online post regarding our conpany's integrity and workmanship of our finish product placements. We usually ignore such vindictive ignorance. It does not serve a useful purpose and we as a company have to perform our business with the consumer satisfaction in mind. Our company has always felt our initial stance should be the "customer is always right" reasonable or not.

The most important feature of our business is endeavor to have an ongoing improvement in customer satisfaction, regardless what that takes. In addition my partner has been in the flooring industry professionaly for over 50 successful years. He has removed/demo and installed over 5,000,000 sqft of floor media. He is highly respected by the entire sacramento community for his steadfast position on quality. This man has been my mentor for years before we joined forces as a team as Global Floor Designs. The reason we teamed  was we share the same virtues regarding the providing of durable beautiful finish products for our customers at the most affordable price.This is a quality and affordability that is lacking in the flooring business companies today. We are determined to keep our reputation untarnished by wrongful accusations from disgruntled ignorance. So we wish to clarify your staements that has caused harm to our companies reputation. We will make it short.

First of all, your project was completed well within what is considered industry standards. Second, the extra 5 trips to your residence was in attempt to create a table top perfection to your project so that when you are on your knees with your white gloves on you could feel satisfied. Then from that point after we allowed you a payment schedule on the remainder balance of ($4,000.00) because you ran out of money. So when we asked for the first installment payment you baulked and started redefining perfection and then you called in individuals that would benefit from their bad report which incidentally is illegal to do so. So I called in Mr Larsen who educated you on the proper method of inspecting a finished floor and tolerance levels. You did not like what you heard o you involved the (CSLB). California State License Board. Their "Industry Experts" also have written a report and have exonerated our performance. to be within "Industry Standards". The only thing left is for you to pay the remaing balance in full with interest of your contract cost before we file a lien on your home. In addition we considered this attempt of yours to harm our reputation as a foolish and malicious action because we have documentaion on our part to prove our postion and challenge your slanderous accusations in a court of law.So if we do not receive our tardy/overdue payment of $ 4,000.00 we will follow through with a liable suit as well for the breach of contract,interest of delyed payment,slander and all court costs.

You need to keep in mind that the "Rip off report" forum is designed to expose those who rip off people. We are now putting you on notice for being the exact type of "deplorable" that this forum protects others from. Contractors review filed liens before entering into contracts with in the community at large and once that a lien is registered your deserved bad reputation will be noted by loaning institutions as well.Our stance is not to harm you we just want the money we earned period. Shame on you for attempting to harm us when we have done so much to help you beyond reason. since this issue has been resolved by the CSLB we will be sending you your final bill once again including standard interest rates applied this time because you have held our money unjustifiably for 10 months now and the law says we can. This is America and America protects its citizens from fraudulant people like yourself. These comments we have made are merely a reaction to your post.You have left us no option than to raect to your malicious behavioral action and we will stand fast to protect our reputation.

The first day delivering your 7 inch x 3/4 solid wideplank livesawn walnut floor. You stated to me that you where having customer issues with a transmission company and that you where going to have to submitt a claim to the ca automotive repair due to you not being happy with that company. Then a few days later you where venting to me about another company that installed your screen doors and have had back several times and still you where not happy with them.

Then stating to me the reason you love costco so much is because of ther return policy. That you can break an item purchased years down the road and just take it back for a new one no questions asked.

Then during the final days of completion of your project knowing you had a balance owed to us for $ 4,000.00 you hired a painter to paint the interior of your home which cost money. Then after that you consulted me about purchasing new front loading LG washer and dryers fom costco for 3,000.00. Still knowing you had an unpaid balance owed to me.

Then that weekend after purchasing the new appliances you called me to ask if I can help wire up your new appliances or refer a electrician. all these actions where just disrespectful to say the least.

The smartest thing you can do is remove this online attack and pay your balance in full.
