GN Residential Property Management Company - President Gregory Nesmith If you need a property management services - please beware of this company! ripoff Atlanta Georgia
I had entered into a contractual agreement with Gregory Nesmith, owner of GNResidential property management, to allow him to find a suitable tenant for my property rental. Based on the contract, Greg Nesmith would collect a one-time fee of $500 for the initial tenant placement and 7% of each monthly rent collected during the lease term.
On May 4th 2007, his employee, Tonya Norwood, occupied my unit and paid the first month rent of $850. After many attempts to collect my portion of May's rent, I have yet to receive any money. First, I sent Greg an email asking when would I receive payment since Tonya had moved into the unit. He stated she did not pay the for the month May. So I confronted her and repeated what Greg had said to me. She assured me that she did pay and referred me back to Greg. Once again I called Greg's cell phone and office number to inquire on my payment status. I recieved no response.
To increase my chances of reaching Greg Nesmith, I sent him emails as well to inquire about payment. In one email, Greg Nesmith stated he mailed my check to my new address. A week later, I did not recieve the payment. This is when I left a message on the 'emergency' line requesting that someone call me back in regards to my payment. He said he "forgot" to mail the check and agreed to meet with me so I pick up my payment from his office. He did not return my phone call and turned off his cell phone. The third attempt, I sent him an email asking for payment and I am waiting for response, if I will get any.
Please be aware of this man and his company. I advise you to collect rent payments directly from tenant. I have learned my lesson from this situation.
