I paid for the engagement ring in full and was told that my ring would take 4-5 weeks to be in.  After 5 weeks I called and they said it still hasn't come in yet but it should any day (ring still wasn't ordered by this time).  This went on for the next month and finally I went in and another rep told me the ring had only been ordered only 2 weeks ago (almost 2 months since they lied to me and said it was ordered).  I got my ring 3 weeks later but it was so late that I couldn't propose with it and my fiancee didn't have it to wear in the engagement pictures.  After this whole ordeal and flat out lies of it being ordered when it wasn't (my salesman kept saying it was Simon G's fault even though Simon G never had the order!), all they really did was say sorry.  It was hell to go through this and caused so much unwanted stress while getting ready for a wedding.  I would not recommend going to Goldsmith...go to (((competitor's name redacted))) or somewhere else.

 sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. Owner fixed my perception of the company

I had a bad experience and was lied to by one of the employee's and it caused us to get the ring a couple of months later than expected. However, once the other employee's found out about it they treated us great and got the ring to us as quickly as possible. The owner then found out about what happened to us and personally called me to say sorry. Just from our short conversation I could tell that he's a great business owner and full of integrity. The one employee that I had the bad experience with no longer works there. With how the owner has treated me as well as all of the other employee's, I would for sure go back to them in the future. It's great to see companies that care about the individual client and do everything they can to make the client satisfied.
