I engaged Greenleaf Modify in January 09. Supposably they did a forensic but didn't share the results with me. I have tried for a month (its now June 10) but cannot get a return call or fax or email. I have a forclosure date of June 12. Litton has sent me a partial agreement with a 3 month trial payment and no guarantee of rate, no principle reduction and a balloon payment at the end of my lovely, 100K over equity mortgage. Greenleaf closed this division without notification and are no longer in Santa Anna and are under a new name. I was told that the agent no longer worked there. I dont know if I have any leverage to work with or even if they really are working for me. I have paid 2200 and thankfully have not paid the 2000 balance. I have been told that the mortgage companies lie and have hidden agendas. I feel like I have been

scammed and am without the help/knowledge I need. We've lived in this home for 20 years and it is modified for my daughters wheelchair needs.

Why is US homeowners relief changing their name AGAIN? what are they trying to hide

Why are they not registered with the department of justice as required by law

why are they not licensed by the DRE (there is no attorney)

Why is the processing department so unorganized with people quitting as fast as they are hired

Why do they have 50+ employees in a boiler room operation sub leased from another company

US Homeowners Relief saves another home - even though they weren't paid in full for their services!

>>I engaged Greenleaf Modify in January 09. Supposably they did a forensic but >>didn't share the results with me. I have tried for a month (its now June 10) but >>cannot get a return call or fax or email. I have a forclosure date of June 12. >>Litton has sent me a partial agreement with a 3 month trial payment and no >>guarantee of rate, no principle reduction and a balloon payment at the end of >>my lovely, 100K over equity mortgage. If you received a partial agreement from Litton Loan Servicing - that means your home was saved with the help of US Homeowners Relief. Since you did not make a mortgage payment for such a long period of time and almost lost the home - the lender will usually want to see you make at least 3 payments on time before they extend you the formal loan modification agreement. Patience is key when working toward a successful loan modification outcome. >>Greenleaf closed this division without notification and are no longer in Santa >>Anna and are under a new name. I was told that the agent no longer worked >>there. I dont know if I have any leverage to work with or even if they really are >>working for me. US Homeowners Relief is a processing center that works with many different loan modification companies (including GreenLeaf). If the original customer service rep leaves the company or if a branch gets shut down, there is absolutely no reason to worry because the processing center is doing all of the work. The customer service division is just there to answer questions and to help you get started. This is apparent because the original rep you spoke with left the company but US Homeowners Relief was still processing your file and you still were able to save your home (as stated above when you announced that you received a partial agreement). >>I have paid 2200 and thankfully have not paid the 2000 balance. I have been >>told that the mortgage companies lie and have hidden agendas. I feel like I have >>been scammed and am without the help/knowledge I need. We've lived in this >>home for 20 years and it is modified for my daughters wheelchair needs. This section of your complaint strikes me very odd. You feel scammed, yet you did not pay the remaining balance due to a company that was actually able to help you save your home. Do you realize what you wrote here? If your home was saved and US Homeowners Relief did not get paid the remaining balance for their work - it sounds like they were actually scammed by you. Next time, trying paying someone in full for their services. I guarantee you will get more feedback and help in return. Keep in mind, when it comes to business, you will usually get what you pay for.
