Again, GriffinRUN has failed to provide all services. Inadequate files, inoperable redirect (regarding whether or not its free), inoperable stats (6 days later), server shut down for over a day with no action although acknowledged the server down in email. Within 3 hours of going through ONE BAD SITUATION after another or better yet, inoperable situation after another, I have demanded my money back, not using their service at that given time period. Also, GriffinRUN advertises on their website: Here's the bait and switch routine. This is a prime example of how they get their money from unsuspecting consumers like you and me: Consumer: Can I test a server before I make my purchase decision? GriffinRUN: Yes, we have test-drive servers available for all of our locations. You can test your ping immediately by signing up for a free & automated trial. The test drive is designed to demonstrate the server performance you and your clan can expect. We do not provide administrator access during the test drive. Then GriffinRUN's follow up letter: From: GriffinRUN website Date: May 24, 2006 4:36 PM Subject: Your GriffinRUN UT Test-Drive! You can still order it and have your own within 48 hours. I was monetarily raped as a consumer. These people who run this company have no conscience. I was unhappy after 3 hours of nothing going right and wanted my money back. I've been an administrator of 2 other servers with two other reputable server companies and NEVER EVER have I EVER been treated this way. How silly of me to think when you PAY MORE, you get more. The opposite has happened to me. Please anyone who is into online gaming, it is my personal opinion that if you deal with GriffinRUN, you will be left dissatisfied, feeling monetarily raped along with poor customer service, unavailability, inability to resolve issues, inoperable product and finally, just plain screwed.

In response to each line item mentioned below. 1. Our public policy is that new game servers take up to 48 hours to install. Customer received her service in less than 4 hours. Contrary to statements below, no files were missing from the game server itself. Customer is referring to the free redirect service, which is a repository of files that all Customers are allowed to add to as needed. It had 0 CTF maps at the time the customer ordered. GriffinRUN realized Customer was unhappy and added 210 maps to the redirect server within 24 hours. There are now 500 maps on the redirect server. The missing files issue has been resolved. 2. GriffinRUN's official policy is that support requests take up to 48 hours for a response, however, in this case GriffinRUN's average response time was only 18 minutes over the first 3 hours of service that the customer alluded to. 3. GriffinRUN has recorded that we handled 31 support responses to Customer. 14 of them in the first day of service. This Customer's support emails were professionally handled. Our refund policy is publically viewable, clearly written and is even a mandatory click-agreement on the first page of our 6-step order process. 4. No comment 5. GriffinRUN uses shortcuts to save on Customer disk quota usage, so a standard UT game server install at GriffinRUN uses only 14 MB of Customer's 500 MB quota and includes 80 preinstalled game server maps. Customer decided to delete all 80 pre-installed "shortcut" maps and uploaded 283 maps, which take up nearly 700 MB. GriffinRUN allows upgrades for disk quota at $3 per 100 MB per month. Disks are Ultra 320 15,000 RPM SCSI hard drives which are expensive.
