Once sold the services and upon receiving the information required for the application, reality sets in that  you where  lied to about the process and that this process will take a lot of your time . The processors take the heat about the lies and the client still believes the salesperson. The processor can try to re-sell or after being employed there a while really don't care and just listen and try to continue receiving the info. You can comply with the process or give up realizing you made a bad decision.

Each processor service 100-150 clients in all stages of the application.  If you don't stay on top of your processor your application will sit because they don't have the time to manage their files.  They change the information they need internally frequently and with the GSA refreshes it feels like a cycle that will never end.

Apparently, the way to attempt to succeed is to get all the information to the processor asap to avoid as many of the changes and refreshes. More importantly, do your homework and read what you sign, complaints may be ignored, take weeks to get a response and fall on deaf ears.  Good luck with the process if you have signed up.

GSA 1000. GSA Preview, GSA Tampa, GSA Greenville, GSA Dallas, Nucen-tury GSA, GSA Application Services, and all the other shell companies operated by the Sprecher Organization used 20+ telemarketers to cold call hundreds of thousands of companies from their boiler-room behind the Enterprise rent-a-car in Oldsmar.  They sold the service to unsuspecting customers for $2500 - $8500.

Customers would be assigned to one of five 'processors'.  They promised to pay us $12.50 / hour PLUS we got a 20% commission everytime we could 'upsell' the customers.  Upselling meant that anything that the customer wanted to happen was 'outside the scope' of the fixed price services agreement.  If the customer wanted us to do more work, we chared them whatever they thought we could get.

After 6 months in my position, i was the senior processor.  All the others quit or were fired.  I quit, too, after they failed to pay me the commissions that I had earned.   I went to the FL department of labor and found out that they have many complaints from other former employees who did not get paid.
