HANGER PROSTHETICS & ORTHITICS HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DISABLED , BY HANGER PROSTHETICS . FORT WORTH, Texas
I had never knew anyone that had to wear a prosthtic leg, until this last year when I met a wonderful man & his daughter he had just gotten his fourth socket from Hanger in five years I really didn't know that there were Co's out there that took advantage of this kind of unfortunate situation, But as I've learned these past seven months this is quite a big business prosthetics cost for just the basic around $15,000 without a foot that's another $5,000, but it really is'nt the
cost it's the poor quality products that this Company sends people out with,.
they said the socket had a six month warranty on it but they wouldn't look at until it was completely paid for so with
a balance of $1,200 they would not help him when he paid it all they told him his warranty
had lapsed. he has been in constant pain since he walked out of the office on that first day & every night I see him in severe pain with blisters and areas that are rubbed raw .they mounted his old foot onto it going forward not centered so he always feels off balance I feel so sad when his daughter asks him to walk with her just recently my best friend had his right leg amputated his Dr. told him the best place to go was to Hanger this is why I felt I had to let other people in
this situation know about this business maybe they cared about the people but now it's just the Money.
