Hey Einstein,
Did you peel away the thin blue protective film from the front of the visor?

When you post on a public forum you will get opinions and advice of various types. If you don't want opinions, don't post.
No one accused you of stealing, but Harbor Freight (and most other companies) have had so many people try to scam them that they just have a return policy that everyone must adhere to. If everyone was honest, companies wouldn't have to do these things but alas, they are not, so it's necessary.
Please lay off the ridiculous comments accusing any poster who doesn't agree with you of being an employee. It just makes you look silly.
Keep your receipts and your life will be easier.

in fact here's an excerpt of what he said:
"What proof do you have that you bought it at their store? Without a receipt..NONE.
What proof do you have as to what price you paid? Without a receipt..NONE.
What proof do you have when you bought it? Without a receipt..NONE.
Do you get the idea yet? While I am not saying that you did this. There are many people who would steal an item and then try to return it."
I guess you didn't read all his rebuttal or just failed to comprehend it.
I have the same face shield you bought in my woodshop...I've had it for several years and guess I could just go to Harbor Freight and return it. They wouldn't know I've had it that long...right.
Robert tried to enlighten you on the reasons retaillers have been tightening their return/refund policies...the scammers ARE out there, and he did NOT say you did the things he listed.
If you'd been reading ROR's and rebuttals on here, you would KNOW he gives reasoned and accurate postings.
No, I don't work for him OR Harbor Freight.

If you think I would Steal anything you are sadly mistaken, Never mind a $4.95 item. And it is their product. If you read my complaint throughly, it states the model # which HF onlycarries. I'll not respond to any of your wild and inflamately statements...You must be an employee or a stock holder (if traded) with no life. who asked for your opinionany way..Tony...Toms River,nj

Do you get the idea yet? While I am not saying that you did this. There are many people who would steal an item and then try to return it. There are also people who would buy it on sale or with some other discount and then try to return it at full price. Unfortunately since they have no idea who is legitimate and who may be trying to scam them they have a standard policy they apply to everyone.
By the way this is becoming pretty standard with stores. That is No receipt..No Return/Exchange regardless of the amount.
