I am Rob Ferguson and I own HBUS, Inc dba as Health Benefits US. I have had an insurance license in the state of North Carolina for over 10 years and I am licensed to sell insurance in fourteen states.
I have lived a precarious life and by the grace of God have been actively walking with Him daily since getting clean and sober September 11, 2004. I am active in recovery from alcohol, and drugs and it is a blessing an honor to say that as I have also sponsored several other folks to help them to overcome their addictions. It is great to be used in this aspect of life because I never forget where I once was. I am also an active member of Journey Church in Raleigh and I am quite sure any of the elders or my Pastor would be a great reference to how I walk in my daily life as well as my business.
This is clearly not a client, but a former disgruntled contractor that did not fulfill their role within the company. They are suggesting that I did not pay them for the role that they played within the company. I would suggest transparency and stating EXACTLY how you were wronged in order to make it right.
While the person who is suggesting that you not buy insurance from me does state what I did to them or why they would have such animosity towards me, there are only two people in the last year that parted ways with our company. Both of them can not refute the efforts we all put into the company over the last year, it is unfortunate that some folks just quit every time life does not go their way, and are unable to realize that when we have differences in life, sometimes we have to work through them and compromise instead of running away.
Please note that when a licensed insurance agent facilitates the sale of your insurance, they are advocating the best possible plan for you and your needs. They are compensated directly from the insurance carrier for helping you and not directly by you. If you consider that insurance is a commodity and the rates are the same whether you go through me as an agent, or through a particular companies website, then I am essentially a navigator to help guide you to the best plan.
While over 95% of our clients are on a High Deductible HSA plan, which costs 1/2 of the typical plans, one could infer that we are teaching insurance to people that helps them save money and get better benefits.
We offer no cost consultations to anyone needing help on any type of plan, and desire is to earn our business one customer at a time.

The next two years of Health Insurance and reform are going to be tricky. Do you want an experienced agent who shoots it straight, if so we hope you will give us a try.
