The beginning of your problem is that you did not fully understand the warranty of the product you purchased. HHGregg has a 14 day return policy and after which, if you haven't purchased the extended service coverage offered through their company, the repairs are solely on you. They were in fact doing you a favor by getting you in touch with a certified repair service. The cost associated with are your responsibility to take care of at this point because you didn't purchase the extended plan. It is not a matter of HHGregg standing behind their product, it is a manufacturers warranty. While the television you bought is a good television everything has a bad egg. And, unfortunately, you received that egg. Do not blame HHGregg for this problem for they were merely trying to help you. If anything this insert should be about Curtis not HHGregg. Thank you.

Your televisions should have been replaced. If I remember correctly a friend had a simialar situation and was told to bring it in to the store that they replace these under warranty, not fix them. Contact hhgregg's corporate office. They try to do the right thing, sometimes people are mis-informed on what they are supposed to do.
