Hurricane Express, Inc Keadon and Sheldon ,owners They will promise that you will make good money - but after you sign on you will be lucky to collect your settlements from them. They pay you when it's convienent for them to do so... Springdale, Arkansas
These people will promise you the moon - yet lie to your face...My husband signed on as a Lease/Purchase Owner/OP...and was told he would run coast to coast. His take home pay was supposed to be between $1000 to $2000 a week...but after the second week, surprise no checks for two weeks. And then he was paid only $400 on his next check...I started double checking all setttlement sheets and found that they would show they were reimbursing him for his lumpers - surprise again - they were charging him double for lumpers....doesn't take a rocket scientist to find that. Then they only pay after you make a coast to coast run (supposedly), and then run you on some short runs and not pay you for those until you made another coast to coast run...And had the nerve to blame you because your paperwork was not turned in on time, or TripPak was late - or get this - UPS HELD THE TRIPPAKS....Yeah right. And then they refused to talk to me (the wife) about the paychecks; because I questioned everything they were doing...so we stopped getting regular paydays all together. We were also told that the lady who does the payroll can only process so many drivers in a week...and that you would get your check in the next rotation...WTF. (I used to process a payroll for over 200 people, give me a BREAK). How stupid do they think people are. So basically this company operates on YOUR money. Oh and how do they charge you for 14 days of truck payment in one week? As far as I can remember, there are only 7 days in a week...these people are nothing but thiefs. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM. They will make you lose everything you have. Thank goodness this was not our first rodeo and we figured them out asap. But to anyone else who is considering working for them - DON'T DO IT.
