Hurst Auto Transport ripoff slow to refund deposit, claims refunds generally in 30 days but currently 3 months and waiting Anderson California
I hired Hurst Auto Transport to transport a vehicle that I purchased out of state. I made a $200 deposit to the company. The vehicle was involved in an accident with seller, in transit to be detailed, before the transport company arrived for pick up. The order for transport was cancelled. The company told me that I would receive a refund for the deposit, and it generally takes up to 30 days to receive the refund.
I have been in contact with the company 3 times since the 30 day timeframe has elapsed to check the status of the refund and am told it generally takes up to 30 days and is in progress.....
It has been 3 months and I still have not received the refund.
