IDC Interstate Distribution Company abused & mistreated Culver City California
First, I want to thank the person who wrote their report of this same company. Fortunately, I was not scammed into buying this company's toner for my copier. "David" from IDC called claiming he wanted to give me my new pricing for my toner, and I'm sure he was going to send me a couple of cartridges and an outlandish bill, too.
I've had enough experience in office administration to know how these scams work, so it makes it easier to catch slimeballs like David.
Anyway, he started in on his typical song and dance and I asked, "Price increases?" and he said "Yes." I asked what company he was with and he beat around the bush with the typical, "I'm with the distribution center." So, I asked, "Yes, but what company do you work for?"
He then told me it was IDC. I verified his company and said, "We don't do business with your company for our toner supplies." He then screamed as if doing a karate chop, then slammed the phone down so hard it hurt my ear.
As I write this complaint, my head actually aches a little on that side of my head. (Can you say lawsuit, IDC?) I did a little internet research and found this site along with IDC's phone number, so I thought I'd make a little call.
I got the big runaround from them, but at least I was able to voice my displeasure with how they do business. My concern is that others might be subjected to David's little temper tantrums and suffer more damage to their ears than I did (I keep the volume on my phone's receiver pretty low, thank goodness).
So, if anyone receives a call from some pushy idiot named David from IDC, do you and me both a favor and slam the phone down on him before he does it to you. Hopefully, David will break his phone with his childish antics and we won't have to worry about it.
