My husband & I are financially in a bind right now. He is switching to union and we will soon be making more money, but right now things are bad. Obviously or we wouldn't have been looking online for payday advances. We didn't follow through on any because of the 482.9%APR and such.
We were VERY careful about unchecking all the boxes asking us to be enrolled in various credit repair programs, etc. Today when I checked our bank account we had $0.88 left and on the top line was idcustserv.com for $31.88. I pulled up the website - had never heard from them before and I know we didn't sign up for this!
Well while cancelling they say, are you sure - how about paying 24.95? I said no. They said are you sure, how about 14.95. I said NO. They say = how about 7.95?. Are you kidding me? If you offer as low as 7.95 how do you feel good about yourself charging people 31.88??
So I cancelled and started a live chat and asked "Jeff" to refund our money. He gave me their refund link page, which I filled out. It said it would be reviewed and if I am elligible I could have my refund in 72 hours.
This is an awful scam - preying on people who are already financially a little down then taking the last of their money! We have 4 days till payday and .88 to support 2 kids. No diapers, no milk, very little gas (which I have to use to drive 10 miles to the nearest Coinstar and eek out at least $15 I hope.) Please bring attention to this horrible website. It doesn't matter if you don't take a payday loan, if you check NO to all the further solicitation. An Identity THEFT program is going to ROB you of the last few dollars you have anyway. I feel sick inside right now and just wish I could undo the last 24 hours.

com: I just cancelled it and looks like you go as low as 7.95 for coverage so why would you charge us 31.88? are you looking into something, hello??

Am I supposed to support my family on .88 for the next 3 days? We were already hurting with $32 and some change to take to coinstar. Now I have to pray I have atleast $15 in change. You guys are awful awful awful.
