Posted about this last week. ILD, a company I had never heard of, charged our AT&T account the $12.95 plus tax for Dec and Jan. My wife shows me the bill in Jan and asks me about it. I'm really pissed cause I've NEVER heard of ILD Voicemail and NEVER authorized them to do anything, let alone charge our account. THEY claimed we authorized it on the internet. NO WAY, DIDN'T HAPPEN. Anyway I call AT&T in Jan. They're no help and tell me I have to call ILD myself, which I do and get a promise of a refund for Dec and Jan and a cancellation number. What do I see on Feb's bill? A refund for Dec and Jan AND a charge of $12.95 plus tax from ILD for Feb. Now I'm really pissed. I call AT&T again and get a rude, useless rep telling me there's nothing they can do. So I go to the office and write an agressive e-mail to AT&T telling them they have one week to settle the problem or I'm gonna cancel AT&T at both the house and the office. On Monday, I get THREE e-mails and THREE phone calls at the office from a very nice gentleman telling me HE, not ILD is refunding the $12.95 plus tax plus his personal phone number and a promise monitor my next month's phone bill. Am filing a complaint with the public utilities office. As I understand it, several state attorney general's have filed injunctions aganist ILD. What a bunch of crooked scumbag crooks.
