Imperial Financial Settlement LLC i RECEIVED THE EXACT LETTER AS THE OTHER 5 REPORTERS. i WILL TURN IT IN TO THE POST OFFICE SINCE i BELIEVE THIS IS CONSIDERED MAIL FRAUD. 1000 BLOOR STRET WEST, TORONTO , Ontario
I received "and official notice wihich confirms that you are a 2nd prize winner in the second category of the USA Department Stores Sweepstake Lottery held on Jan 30th, 2010.
Imperial Financiall Sellement LLC. has been assigned by the sweepstake organization to inform all winners and pay them off theri money.
The check looked official, but other things seemed fishy. I have heard of scams that have you cash a check then send some of the money to someones else. Before I checked into whether or not the check was legit, I looked up Imperial Financial Settlement on the internet, and wow, my suspicions were correct.
First I will file a report with the post office, then whatever they advise me to do. Thanks to all of you who filed a report!
