This company has the most convuluted complex rebate system and was designed with help from them for the consumer to fail in every attempt to get a rebate. I submitted rebate forms along with 6 months of my wireless service bills and all required documentation required. They rejected the $100 rebate submission saying I had omitted my mobile number from the rebate form. I caiied them and told them they had removed that number from the form and requested to talk to a Supervisor. I talked to Jennifer (last name unk.)she told me to FAX her a $100 Customer Loyalty Rebate with the mobile # FAX# 480-606-4313 which I did. I called next day 3/16/06 to see if they had received information they told me that they couldn't tell me as it took 10-14 days for them to get that FAX information.

Another delaying tactic which is done purposely. You have to meet a specific time frame, nothing will be accepted if received before 180 days and rejected after 210 days from your activation date of your mobile phone. Their primary purpose is to reject any submission even if they have to remove data or fabricate data on the consumers documentation. Even if data is resubmitted by mail or FAX ther is a 10-14 days to respond to the consumer as to its acceptability, they want to push you past the 210 days

Hello Tom, I'll have my office inquire with our rebate center about the fax issue you mention. I do not know why you would have been told that it takes 10-14 days to receive a fax. (However, I do know that actual processing of a resubmission does require a similar amount of time as the original submission, so it's true that our rebate processor would not be able to tell you immediately if they were processed successfully). I did want to address your question about the 180-day wait before rebates can be sent in. The delay is not trip customers up, but rather as insurance for the dealer (InPhonic as well as many of our online competitors) in case the customer deactivates their account, which causes the carrier to penalize us. There is a more thorough explanation, as well as other rebate information on this website: http://www.wireflyrebates.com/ The good news is that if you submit your rebate at the appropriate time, and your rebate claim is found to be incomplete, you have an additional 30 days from the time that you're notified to resubmit. This ensures that you have reasonable time to correct your application even if the 210 day window has passed. Hope this information helps. Please feel free to contact me if you have specific questions related to your order. Kind regards, Doreen Dennis InPhonic ddennis(at)inphonic.com
