I see I'm not the first to get ripped off by Intown Suites, but I hope I can may it be the last. I have been taken for my deposit up to this point, but before I get to that, I want to go to my arrivial on 6/30/04. I was late, because I had the office hours wrong, but there was someone still there.
I got the room, the first thing my wife and I noticed there were no towels, that was taken care of. The next thing we left out and came back our magnetic key had cancelled out, because we unknowingly put it in the wrong door. When to use the toilet, it over flowed and had to be plungered. My wife told me, which I was unaware, the bath and the bathroom had not been cleaned.
Now the kick in the teeth, was when I went to check out, I was told they were charging me $45.00 for late charges, because I didn,t turn in the Move Out Notice 24hrs before checkout. I read the notice and it states, if you want an immediate cash refund. Like I told the manager, Bonnie Stone, I didn't think that applied because I wasn't looking for a refund, I just wanted the $70.00 deposit credited back to my account.
I feel that as I sit here and read all the letters of people who have been taken by this outfit, that I'm in line with a lot of others. I hope that all others will get together with me to fight back, because I am retired and I have more time than money. I would rather spend my time on something else, but they have took my money. People, robbery, is robbery whether with a gun or without one.
