Well, people can name call all the want. A real ethical and honest company that cares about the customers will usually bend over backwards to DO SOMETHING instead of just reading off the warranty statement. We too got ripped off. Had an expensive engine (Jasper) put in my wifes car, less thatn 50K miles on it, just out of the warranty period and of course, the black and white warranty, Jasper wouldn't even offer anything. Says volumes about their "quality" product. Babied the vehicle, rarely drove it, regular oil changes, and the head gasket failed because it was poor quality. Yet, Jasper's name all over it and they could care less. Live and learn. Get a used engine/transmission, save a few bucks and likely do just as well for a whole lot less. Jasper sells their stuff because they tout it as being above all the other offerings out there. Come on. Get real. Plain nuts.

So basically, here is the scenario....You go to a car dealership and buy a brand new Corvette. Chevrolet gives you a 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain limited warranty. You only drive the car on weekends and when its nice outside. The rest of the time you keep it in in the garage. Over the course of 8 years you only drive 5,000 miles and the transmission fails. Call your Chevy dealer and ask them what they are going to do for you. I worked at a car dealer for 8 years and can explain exactly what they would do, nothing. And they shouldn't. It is not their fault someone bought a product from them, then chose not to use it. They stood by their warranty! It is not Jaspers fault you have a motor home that you chose not to use during the warranty period.

Furthermore, we did not buy an engine, we bought a transmission. If you read the rebuttal rules you are supposed to state facts and not start name calling when you reply to a report. This leads me to believe that you really do not know what you are talking about. If you look up Jasper, you will see that they seem to have a problem standing behind their product. If their product can only withstand 3000 miles, then I would say it is not worth wasting your money on.

If you had bothered to read, I stated that I knew it was over the 3 years, however with only 3000 miles on it, I would assume that the company would stand behind their product. When our mechanic took it apart he found that the defect was from the factory not from anything we did. We were not asking for a full warranty, just some help on the cost since it was a factory defect on their product. So, maybe you shouldn't comment on something you know nothing about.

You're nuts.
Jasper Engines is the nation's most reputable remanufacturer of engines. They sell more than anyone else, and they have what is considered the industry's leading warranty.
You bought an engine with a 3 year / 100k warranty, and then FIVE YEARS later want them to pay? You're not asking them to honor a warranty.
Further, you're attempting to blackmail them by posting here.
You're nuts.
Another worthless rip off report.
