This place is a grade A rip off, they overcharge for cars with over 100k miles. I've had my car serviced for the same issue several times and they still don't know what the problem is but expect me to still pay to fix it. And to add insult to injury, they (General Manager: Ethan Sivewright) wont give me an alternate vehicle.


 They have me in a hazardous vehicle that shuts off at a moments notice and wont start 9 times out of 10 tries. My car cut off on me in the middle of a busy expressway! How dangerous is that?? All they have been doing is playing the guessing game and throwing parts in my car. I am planning on contacting the BBB to send a complaint on my behalf and contacting my lawyer to get rid of this car and headache.

In my contract, i have the option to be let out of my having my car.
Well that would be a first, but if you truly have something in writing what is the hold-up?

Go down and tell them to take the car back per the contract or you will file suit.  If they still refuse..sue them.  Since you have it in writing it would be a slam-dunk for you to prevail.

Or are you not really telling the entire story about that statement.

JD Byryder is buy-here-pay-here.  They sell as-is.  NO WARRANTY.  He needs to take the vehicle to a different shop.

I wonder why he didn't have any problems during the test-drive.

In my contract, i have the option to be let out of my having my car. and why should i have to take my car to another shop to get fixed where they will charge me when the lot where i got my car from has mechanics that will fix whatever is under warranty??? You shouldn't be selling cars you can't fix, any sane person would agree. Yes i signed and agreed but i also signed a contract saying that this car is in working condition, and the last time i checked, a car that doesn't start or stops on you at a moments notice isn't qualified to be called a car in working condition. Do you not agree?? And after multiple attempts of failing to fix a car for the same issue, one should be given the option to choose another vehicle in place of the defective one. YES, i am an angry customer. No, i am not asking for anything absurd, but i do know my rights and i am well within them.

First of all, I will never pay for repairs done to my car that is under warranty. And as my lawyer told me, if after the first or second attempt to fix the same issue,  a person is not supposed to pay for the repair. That's what you paid them to fix the first time. And i am not paying off a car that cost a lot more than i would ever get for the car itself.

That is not a rip off because a merchant can charge whatever amount they want to charge for their merchandise. As a consumer you have the right to decline the purchase.

Of course you are expected to pay for your own car repair. After several unsuccessful repair attempts maybe you should consider taking the car to a different mechanic.

You don't need an attorney to get rid of a car. Pay off the balance and then sell it. What are the warranty terms? Was this an AS-IS sale?
