Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Never - Never - Never hire this person or if you do, you have been warned.

After this contractor tried to extort more money from me and we ended up in a fight, I had several other contractors look at the work and it all has to be torn out. He has no idea the correct order to put the materials down and actually put the red guard under the hardiback - it goes on top! There is not water proofing under the floor where thinset was supposed to be put. Any water will destroy the wood floor. The curb they put in is only 2 boards tall and needs to be and waterproofed. They put red guard on raw wood which does no good. The list goes on and on but bottom ine, all; the work will need to be jack hammered out (they put the rubber membrane down on the floor with no slope under it, that will only pool water) and the drain is now going to be lost in the demo and that drain was $100.

He will give you false documents showing his insurance and according to the insurance company, he was cancelled as his policy was for a landscaper in Nevada. If he has Idaho insurance, he never provided proof of it. His as says he has $2 million in coverage, BS! He created a huge water leak and it took 4 days for anything to happen as far as clean up goes so then it was a huge mess. This is gross neglience as he was fully aware of the problem but did nothing to dry it out. I am the one that got a celanup company in and they told him if he had taken care of it right awy, no sheetrock damage would have happened. As it is, half of te downstairs celing had to be removed. Now I am havingmy insurance company take care of it and they can go after him.

Do not be fooled by his apparnt intrigrity as it turns out he has none. The insurance company told me they were happy to loose him as he had too many problems paying for it. Never give him 50% up front as he will try hitting you up for more before the contract conditions allow it. Then he will pull the "I am not coming to do anymore unless you pay me the rest up front". That is extortion and breach of contract.

WOW, this company goes all out when it comes to lying. You can get a copy of their fine from the Division of Building Safety for doing work without a plumbing license and if you have had them do any work on your place that is in relation to plumbing - please report him! The second reported offense gets more fines and eventually they could give him jail time. That is the only way to stop this contractor.

Did they do HVAC or Electrical work at you replace? That too is against the law so report them for that! Do not let them do work without a permit as they can't get one and your insurance cares about that!

Every drain they installed (3 total) had a back slope and they used PVC glue instead of ABD glue. That created a lot of work to open walls and take out that plumbing that was not up to code. I have two pages of notes from the legit plumber on all the things they found wrong and all the code violations. Don't let this happen to you!!!

We have our court date July 19th at the Ada County courthouse in Boise Idaho. I welcome anyone to come and see my photos, videos, witnesses and documents from insurance, Division of Building Safety, etc and see for yourself who it telling the truth and who is trying very hard to divert attention off their mistakes. The damages are huge and I am very much looking forward to our day in court. They can label me anything they want, no one would be OK with this situation and a problematic customer is the least of their problems!!

The horror continued long after this contractor disappeared

I can't even begin to share all the mess this contractor left behind. He claims it was not finished - well, all the walls were up and all the plumbing was buried behind them. His defense is that I yelled at the employee, not any defesne about the horriblework this employee did while here.

That part is considered finished and all that had to be removed which meant removing and replacing the walls. This contractor does not understand the basic concept in plumbing - water does not flow uphill! All three drains were put in with a reverse slope and they used the wrong glue. Hello – black pipe needs ABS glue and you used PVC glue!!!!

Twice we had water come thru the ceiling below their plumbing and my insurance company is now going after this contractor for payment. I welcome our time in court as it is libel only if it is not true and I have shared nothing but the truth. In fact, it has turned out to be way worse than originally thought! Here we are almost three months later and the damage is still being repaired and the negligence by this contractor is unbelievable to me and all those still working to put things back together in the home.

Maybe your attorney can get up to speed on Idaho statue 54-2628 and 54-5217 which state the penalty for not having the correct plumbing license. All the plumbing was removed and they had drains in backwards (again water does not go uphill!!!) and they did not even put a vent in for the new vanity. Really no vent? If your crew was licensed they would know they needed that. All the new plumbing that was put in was too low for the vanities that were on site so that all had to come out and be raised. They don't know things like "allow for the p-trap drop" so there was no place to install these traps without taking out the wall and re-doing all the plumbing. I had Cloverdale plumbing come in and they were here for weeks getting this put back correct because every time we thought we had it done, a new problem showed up. New problems meant removing walls so it was not a painless decision to move forward but we had no choice.

Believe me, this is only the beginning of the problems and they can have all the happy customers in the world, I will never be one of them. Nor will all the professionals that came thru after them to clean up this mess, some have stated this is the worst they have ever seen. They will come to court to say that too. He claims they were a week ahead of schedule - that is a lie! They only had a week left to the end of the contract and if they were a week ahead, then he is saying they were done. Not even. If he had actually looked at the job the day I requested him to, he would see his work was bad.

The shower pan was poured without aggregate and cracked like peanut brittle as soon as it started to dry. They think they were going to pour over that and bury it like they did all the plumbing? The curb for the shower was too short and the membrane did not cover it or go far enough up the walls, oh but wait - they weren’t done? How is that part not done? So glad they did not touch the tile as that would have all been installed over a very pour foundation and would have leaked in no time. He did not waterproof the floor of the bathroom so all that had to be removed as well. We basically gutted his work so we could be sure that moving forward we weren’t going to have problems.

Then, as soon as the vanity was able to be used, we had a second water leak show up on the ceiling of the office. It turns out that this drain was also put in wrong and had to be removed and installed correctly. While there, we found a cut in the hot water line they put in and a jammed up connector they just left in place. I have all the photos from after they left - this contractor has none of those as he refused to meet and go over this. Not to mention during this mess upstairs he was grossly negligent in fixing a water leak they created the first night and that caused my business to be inoperable for several weeks. That is the second lawsuit so no fraud trying to sue him twice for the same thing but I will take this to a higher court if need be.

I have posted some photos here but they don't scratch the surface. Guess we will wait until court and I will prove this contractor performed substandard work in my home, breached our contract and committed fraud by lying about his insurance that he advertised and did not have. His insurance company sent me verification that the "proof of insurance" he provided was only for him to work as a landscaper and handyman in Nevada and it was cancelled. He has never provided any other proof of insurance even though his advertisement that I hired him from stated he had $2 million in insurance and he reassured me when we were going over everything that I would be covered by his insurance should anything go "wrong". Well, here we are.......

Problematic Customer;

#4REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sat, June 02, 2018

I have been Silent on this Customers Libel remarks for quite some time now, on Lawers Advice.  This customer from the begining addmitted that she was problematic, and has had several other contractors quit on her.  Everything was fine with this customer, we where 1 week ahead a schedule.  I decided to take a 3 day weekend to spend time with my family and thats when she blew her lid.  (I have texts and emails to prove it)  She demanded my crew stay late and keep working, she screamed at my employees in front of another contractor (My work trailer has video and audio recordings that caught the incident)  so when I billed her the over time she refused to pay it.  At that point I deemed her to be a problematic customer and requested that payment of the job be paid in full prior to finishing the job. (not extort her, didnt ask for more, just what the balance was)  As, any contractor would do to insure payment.  She refused and started slandering my company, (Libel) She made videos of so called licence'd contractors saying that I did the work wrong.  Keep in mind that the Job was not finished and was never claimed to be finished. It was in the rough stages as that is the technical term.  None of these individuals, stated their name, nor the company they represent, nor their License Number.  She is trying to sue me in small claims court, and has committed fraud by filing 2 smaill claims, in order to get more money in a lower level court.  Up to this point, on Attorneys advice I've stayed silent, but now our investigation is complete and I can say my peace.

I have retained an Attorney, at the Boise Law Firm, Raymond Schilds, from Boise Idaho, 208-891-0202, and we are Filing a Civil Law Suit in District Court for $50,000.00 plus Attorney's fees and Court costs for Libel Statements, Slander, Defimation of Character, and Lost wages.  The Individuals in the videos will also be persued for Civil Action.  I have plenty of Happy Customers, who are more than willing to share the work my company has done for them and the quality of work we have shown.  Feel free to call me 208-985-3880 or email me at [email protected] for a list of references, Court documents, or audio and videos of everything we had to deal with, with this problematic customer.  Thank you for your time in reading this.  Have a great day.

This will be the one and only post on this matter.

JD Solutions, Inc just keeps getting worse!

After four different contractors have had an opportunity to review the shower pan and walls as well as the drywall that was started by JD Solutions, it was clear this was nothing but a nightmare! Here are sveral videos that show the nightmare these guys call workmanship -

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5_gRkHLyVUm9hxtWJoNfrAUcKkllJEdz

They used the wrong material to make the pan and it turned out uneven, not sloped correct and cracked within 24 hours.

They used the wrong screws on the walls and only a few were galvanized the rest were zinc and not the type to be used on the walls.

They used the wrong hardi-back on the wall. This is supposed to be 1/2" and they used 1/4" over the drywall. They did not prep the existing wall correctly and used green board and then put 1/4" hardi-back. By the time you get the thin set and tile on, it will be 3/4" off from the wall and you cannot transition that.

The bladder was stopped short of the curb so that would have been a place for water to leak.

The Red Guard was not applied correctly as it does no good to put that on dimensional lumber.

The bench moves when you sit on it which will make the grout crack and a place for water to leak. It is also not sloped so the water will drain away from the back wall which means any grout crack there will certainly allow water thru.

They did not put proper waterproof under the hardi-back on the floor. They put the hardi-back directly on the subfloor which is incorrect.

As far as the drywall goes, they only put tape on one seam that they put mud over.

They did the sloppiest job of applying the first coat requiring a lot of mud to be scraped off before applying the second coat.

The round corner beads were not installed correctly and the corners did not come together at a 45, instead there was a gap in the trim.

The corner bead was not installed in the correct place along the side of the door and created a big wow on the wall that would have had to float mud out a foot to even try to hid that.

They claimed they would be able to complete this job in 4 working days but demanded final payment to come in to finish. So glad we did not go one more step with these guys because the tile was next and I can only imagine what it would have looked like with this poor of workmanship.
