Jefferson Capital Services ripoff St. Cloud Minnesota
In July we decided to settle with this company. When we called and made arrangments, they stated that we would be receiving a letter in the mail confirming our transaction. Jefferson Capital took the money out of our bank account the same day.
A few days later, we recieved a letter stating that we agreed to make a payment of the amount that we settled for. We waited about a month and never received a letter confirming our settlement. When I called, they stated that the account was sold to another collection agency the same week that they took the money out of our account. It has been almost four months and many phone calls to Jefferson Capital with no resolution. In the mean time, we are receiving more collection calls from the company that the account was sold to.
After about the fifth call to Jefferson Capital, I asked to speak to a supervisor, they state that the supervisor is busy and has no voicemail. With every phone call, we either get a solution that provides no resolution or get hung up on. At this point we are at our wits end and keep receiving dead end solutions all while our credit report is being hit.
