JK HARRIS TOOK OUR MONEY AND DID NOTHING CHARLOTTE North Carolina
We hired JK Harris to try and solve a tax problem last year. About 6 months into the contract I went to the clerk of courts in Tampa and found out that the IRS had not refiled the correct paperwork on Roberts paperwork and he owed nothing to the IRS. I stopped the automatic debit from our checking account and called JK Harris to inform them of what I found out. At this point they had taken around 1300.00 dollars out of our account, they said that they would send me a form, to let me know if We could cancel our contract with them. I received the form, which said they would FORGIVE us of the contract and send us only 744.00 back because of paperwork they had already done. I was hesitant, but we agreed to accept that. but we had to wait 120 days to get it back. it has now been 220 days and I called refund and and review department, got a call back from Kurt Richards and he said they had no money to send us. That is where we are now. We are both recently unemployed and need our money.
