John Jones is the code enforcement officer for the city of key west. i reported to him last week a major monopoly on the island who along with the city caused me to go out of business. I call to report to him the fury a big sailing company in key west was operating their new location without an occupational license. after speaking to occupational license office and verifying this carolyn told me to report it to code enforcement. i reported it to john jones directly he told me it was not his job to enforce it. The city was made aware by me that this was going to happen in advance and after it did this group from the mayor down have refused to go enforce something that all other businesses are required to have, an occupational license. the reason they are not is because this area is already at its max level and cannot issue one. to read more please see my blog

Anyone wanting to google john jones can see the illegal activities hes been involved in. he was arrested recently by the state of florida for giving and signing licenses he was not allowed to. this was done for friends without reguards to building safety. Recently jones and his fellow enforcement staff have lied to the state of florida when they sent a letter saying i complained about numerous violations going on at ocean key resort marina. they wrote the state saying no extra unlicensed boat were running out of this location. what the idiots didnt know was the state was sending investigators down photographing these violations. after lying the hotel-ocean key resort marina- was called into a meeting with the state about their violations and fined. the hotel sent the state a letter saying yes there were extra boats above what was licensed for being run out of the marina. john jones staff just sent state a letter saying no illegal or extra boats they hotel goes on record saying there was. this man will lie and do what ever he needs to to protect certain businesses wheather they are legal or not. Robert i have requested the letter from the state where hotel admits non licensed extra boats are being run out of marina and when i get it i will also post city of key west letter saying no violations are happening. In key west the laws appily to most people there are however people who are allowed to break the laws and people like john jones support it.
