I frequent Johns corner Deli 4-5 times a week and love it. The owner is always pleasant and talkative. She knows the regulars by name and treats everyone like family.
I would be mad if you were stealing from me too! Regardless of whether you made a mistake or not with your copies you still have to pay for them as you have used their ink and paper for the mistake. There is no reason for her to hang a sign, and she had every right to charge you the .40 for your mistakes and to be upset when you refused to pay. Dont be such a cheapskate!
Keep up the great work Johns Deli! You have great food at a great price!

ARE YOU PEOPLE CRAZY! CAN'T YOU SEE THIS PERSON SAID SHE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE PAID FOR THOSE COPIES IF THE PERSON BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS NICER. ARE WE ALL SO COLD. THINK BACK TO 911. DOES IT MATTER? SO PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES. LET IT GO! THIS PERSON PROBABLY WON'T GO BACK TO THAT STORE. OTHER PEOPLE HERE ALSO STATED THAT THEY WERE TREATED BADLY! OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE. SHE STATED SHE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE PAID FOR THE TRASHED ONES IF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NICER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON. THIS IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA!! GOD SAID FORGIVE AND THAT MEANS FORGIVE THE CUSTOMER AND THE STORE OWNER.

so it is ok to steal then? Just because a store clerk is "rude" and/or "glares at you behind the counter" does not make it ok to steal! You still must pay for everything you decide to take, copies you make, whatever. There does not need to be a sign telling you that everything must be paid for (what a ridiculous suggestion was that!), it is common knowledge to anyone over age 5 that when you walk into a store, you must pay for things, not just help yourself and walk out. If that store is so horrible, then don't go back! And if you decide to go in there and steal again, I hope you get arrested!

I WAS VISITING MY COUSIN AND WENT TO THAT STORE. THIS LADY IS REALLY MEAN!!!!!! SHE GLARES AT YOU AND LOOKS AS IF YOU SHOULD NOT BE IN HER STORE. MAYBE SHE IS HAVING PERSONAL PROBLEMS. I SUPPORT THE WOMEN IN THIS STORY. SHE STATED IF THIS PERSON WAS NICER ABOUT HANDLING IT SHE WOULD HAVE PAID HER. THIS OWNER/MANAGER NEEDS CUSTOMER SENSITIVITY TRAINING. SOME PEOPLE NEED TO BE NICE. THAT IS ALL IT TAKES. I SUPPORT THE CUSTOMER.

I agree with the customer. I was treated very badly in this store. Their customer service is very bad. They need to be nice. This person was not insane. The lady at the cash register is really mean.

Why would you think you wouldn't have to pay for copies that YOU made, regardless of whether you threw them away or not? Tell me how what you did is any different than perhaps taking a food item off the shelf, deciding that you don't want it, and throwing it in the trash rather than buying it? Why should ANY store post a sign saying "you must pay for everything you take?" Duhhh.... I feel for the poor store manager who obviously did not deserve to have such a hillbilly as you shopping in her store!
