Kaplan Test Prep The Washington Post Company SAT Prep Course: Big Promises, No Results, Total Rip Off san antonio, Texas
The Kaplan SAT Review Course is an expensive and ineffective waste of time and money. My child is a great student who did well on the SAT the first time, but wanted to better the score in order to increase the chances of getting into Texas A&M. We fully committed to the program, paid our $1,800, and followed every step outlined in the program. The class included private tutoring, which was conducted by an unprofessional doofus who had more interest in hitting on my daughter than in preparing my child for the exam.
Many hours and $1,800 dollars later we get the results, where her grade improved by a miserable 10 points. (1250 to 1260). What a colossal waste of time and money.
I naturally set about to call the Kaplan SAT Review Course representative, only to find that no such person exists in San Antonio. There is apparently a part-timer in Houston, with whom I have left multiple messages and have yet to hear a response.
If you have a child who needs help on the SAT, DO NOT choose this course. The Kaplan SAT Review Course is a complete sham, is very expensive, and preys on the well-intended parents and students who are going through a very tough time in getting into college.
Shame on you KAPLAN.
