Kevin Erondu K.E. On The Track Makes a living scaming up-and-coming hip-hop artist. It is how he eats (survives). BAD BUSINESS. BEWARE
My name is Street Intelligent. I recently started taking this rap game seroius and began recording verses over existing intrumentals form you tube and such. After posting a small snippet of a verse on Instagram i was surprised to be approached by K.E. on the track ( a semi-known hip-hop producer). He left a comment basically stating that he liked my style and could help me take my career to the next level. He also stated that if I was serious about my career to hit him up via email so we could work out a package deal that included production (beats), radio play, and most important to me promotion. So I said cool what's your proposition? We agreed on a 7 track production deal with heavy promotion included for 3K. The catch was that he wanted the money up front with-out an actual contract being signed. That was my f**k up and I should've known better but when an opportunity arises and your hungry you tend to be vulnerable. After K.E. received the funds I immediately asked for the contract with the correct verbiage. He never sent the contract and never sent me any beats. He pulled the ole' okee-dokee and stopped responding to my calls/messages/e-mails and blocked my number. I called him out on Instagram and he immediately deleted the comment and blocked me on IG. If you search the hash tag #KEonthetrack on Instagram you will see that he does the same tactic he did to me to other independent artist. He'll search the hasgtags that have to do with hip-hop/rap and 'gas' up all these artist promising a deal and promotion. In fact when you search the hashtag #keonthetrack you will actually see other artist complaints with the same scam he pulled on me on Instagram. I'll take this loss like a 'G' but wanted to post this so other independent artist are not scammed by this roaching, crumbing-a*s, and money hungry scum-bag. A fool learns from his own mistakes, a wiseman learns from others. Be the wiseman. You have been warned!
