KIA / Imperial Select Motors Wonderwaters Waranty problems on my KIA SOUL Pretoria, Other
I purchased a new KIA from Imperial select during February 2011. I have using this vehicle now for past 5 month when the indicators and light stop working on about 8 August 2011. I checked the electrical fuses and found that some fuses has blown. I replaced the fuses but the problem returned. On 10 August 2011 I contacted KIA roadside assist who told me that they can only take the vehicle to KIA for repairs. Later the morning I was contacted by a person named Hein who told me that they cannot work on the vehicle the same day and will only be able to attend to the matter the next day. The following day he contacted me telling me that their is a serious defect on the cabling of the vehicle and that the repairs will take 21 working days. I am much upset by this long period which is most un-reasonable. I ask that KIA provide me with a replacement vehicle. He will take it up with his supervisor and would call me back. He did not. The next day (12 Aug 2011 I phoned him again. He said that KIA is processing the claim and that he will call me back. As of writing this report now Monday 15 Aug 2011, I still have had no feedback or any response what soever from this company. It seems that it is OK to sell a vehicle and make a lot of promises, but once the deal is done, I as a consumer is now left over to the this large mean beast to provide for myself. I am depending on this vehicle to commute to work on a daily basis. This KIA/Imperial Select has no concern for nor the cost of cellphone charges calling them to get feedback.
For potential buyers out there beware of the slack service from this particular dealer. I am not the only one complaining.
