I purchased a lift chair from LAY Z BOY furniture in Oct of 2009. Chair worked fine till July of 2010,,,chair would not recline and would not go to neutral position... I called repair and was told part would be shipped to my address. The next day repair called me and said item is back ordered till Sept 15th....wow that long, 2 months...called today 20th of Sept. item is still not in stock..maybe Oct some time...To long to wait.. I said no where in the world can this chair be purchased because of back order part...no reply...My conclusion is ...If I ran LAY Z BOY service I would tell the supplier of these parts to take a hike...I paid almost $2,000 for this chair for MEDICAL reasons and to go this long with out the use of the chair is UNEXCEPTABLE. I feel repair should have removed the part from a new chair and they should wait of the shipment. A COMPANY in business this long should stand behind its merchandise....no longer do I have faith in them NOR SHALL I EVER BUY A LAY Z BOY AGAIN!!!
