Mr Leonard Grant upon renegotiation of my associate travel package decided to use paypal to embezzel my credit card for $17,000.00. He stated his account with paypal was frozen and had me resend a second payment through an associates account. I hadn't recieved a receipt for 9,000.00 assuming his statement true. I resent 2nd pymnt and got suspicous no $9k return, he lied, took both.

Leonard Grant Coastal Director conducted and committed along with Gordon Moss aka Micheal Carty, a scam and did as well have Intent to Decieve as an agenda. Both Mr Grant and Moss/Carty, knowing my inexperience and trust nature being a Chaplain & Reverend having no business background Lied, cheated, & stole togeather over $23,000 dollors off my credit cards. Neither of these so called men cared knowing my position to refinance my home and start my business cared if it meant loosing my home and being on the street because I couldn't go forward said parties also falsified unauthentic releases. I found luckily a Press Release by a board of director at coastal stating to beware of the very "deals" and that they weren't appropriate, much less the felony of the unauthorized scam using paypal to attain my money. If you are concidering Coastal Travel it is a real opportunity and a valid wonderful life changing experience. Please don't let bad apples discourage you and take action if suspicious, if you are offered deals to compensate training, they aren't ok, run. I didn't know deals were negitve, no appropriate and they were ruining the integrity of the best Travel Opportunity second to none. Don't let greed ruin your life. Stay in integrity no matter how much you "think" you stand to make and throughly check and choose Director to train you and make your first 2 sales. Get referrals, ask for old and new!

Coastal Travel sells costly 'packages' of various types which they say will make you money. Keep this in mind: no legitimate business charges its employees (or independent contractors) to work for them. They are clearly in it for the top-level income coming directly from you, not that flowing from your meager sales. Check out their website and go to the top level domain http://www.mydfilive.com/ and you'll see they even have websites and web-based applications to sell you! The truth is that there are plenty of travel deals out there that do not require you to spend thousands of dollars up front to gain access to them, and you will inevitably find that the deals provided by Coastal Travel are not even necessarily the best you will find. You should only pay them thousands of dollars if you have money to burn.

#4REBUTTAL Individual responds

Wed, October 22, 2008

On or about July of 2005 I got a call from an associate with whom both Ms. P and I had mutual contact. As a matter of fact this gentleman was a consultant to both Ms. P and I. We were both involved as students in his training classes. This associate and I had entered into a joint venture that was limited in scope to any of his prospective clients he referred to me. On one July day in 2005, as I was en route to the airport I received a call with Ms. P and this gentleman on the phone. He stated that Ms. P wanted to become a Coastal Vacations Level 3 Director. At the time I was a qualified Level 3 Director. She also stated to me during that brief call that she wanted to waive all training sales and wanted me to give her a "deal" on the membership. Keep in mind that the value of a fully Level 3 Coastal Vacations which would have included training sales exceeded $22,000. However, due to our joint venture agreement this colleague and Ms. P had already agreed to a price of $15,000 before hand. Mind you I was pretty disturbed initially but due to the fact that I was about to board a plane and really just got business without any advertising expenses I chalked up the experience to the benefit of a referral. I agreed to the transaction. Ms. Jeanette P agreed to send partial funds via a money order and paypal. Due to the fact that I was traveling I asked Ms. P to send funds to a partner of mine. My partner later transferred funds to me upon my return. Now let me rebut Ms.P statements which are totally false, inaccurate and injurious to my business and my reputation. First, Ms. P stated that I embezzled funds from her credit card through paypal. If you ever do business with paypal you know that you cannot personally charge someone credit card through paypal if they gave you their credit card number. Furthermore, I never had access to Ms. P's credit card in any way shape, form or fashion. Secondly, if you have never done business with paypal you can contact them by going to www.paypal.com, speak to a representative and they will confirm what I have said in steps 1 above. Third, the amount that Ms. P sent via paypal was disputed by her (even after Ms. P had received her products)! Due to the fact that she paid a third party and not I directly I couldn't file a dispute with Paypal of her receiving the product because technically speaking she hadn't paid me. Fourth, she stated that I embezzled funds from her credit card through her paypal account. As stated in #3 above, Ms. P sent funds to a partner of mine. Hence I could not file a dispute with Paypal. Even more proof that I had no access at any time to Ms. P's credit card or paypal account as stated by her. Fifth, Ms. P received ALL products and services that she paid for by me including Coastal Vacations Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 products. In addition, Ms. Jeanette P even received ALL 3 Levels of Directorship Release signed by me. Sixth, recalled I mentioned that I had a joint venture agreement with our training instructor? Well, he was paid 50% of profits from the sale of these Coastal Vacations products. Seventh, I refunded all monies to Ms. Jeanette P. I have the paypal receipts to prove it because due to Ms. Jeanette P's deception about not receiving her products paypal automatically refunded all monies. If you are an open minded person that has any level of ration you will come to the conclusion that I was the one that was ripped off by Ms. P. Furthermore, I made myself available on many occasions in the capacity of a consultant almost daily; in some cases several times daily to Ms. Jeanette P. Personally, I believe that there are many people that don't have the qualities or the business acumen to start or run a business. As a result, they get what I call "Buyers Remorse!" I try to think the best of all people. I won't go as far as calling Ms. Jeanette P a thief. I'll let the public that's reading my rebuttal put themselves in my shoe and decide for themselves. The facts are clear. We all have a conscience. At least I think so. It's been many years now and Ms. P may have blown through her refund and utilized her products. Then again, most people tend to not associate much value to something they received for free or stolen; as it is in this case. Who got ripped off? Folks there are some great online products, services and opportunities that we can all benefit from. If you ever have a dispute or remorse over a product you have purchased all I would ask if I am the proprietor is not to go to this site and tarnish someone's reputation for the sake of a buck. We have to work in this community which has global reach. We have families and we have expenses too. It's unfortunate to know that folks use forums such as this one which is meant to educate the consumer as a way to tarnish the reputations of those with good intent. To conclude, I have been in business for 15 years. There are 2 known complaints that I know of in this forum. Now, one may say that is an excellent track record. One complaint every 7.5 years to date. But being truthful and candid these two may have been the only ones to lodge a complaint. But if you are like me you don't welcome this barrage of attacks; especially when they are unfounded. I wish Ms. Jeanette P the best and I hope she finds peace in her life and whatever she decides to pursue in life. Leonard Grant
