Complaint Review: Leonard Lado MD - NAPLES Florida

I am the Nurse who filed the original report and record the following:

The parties have met and have discussed their differences and have come to a mutual agreement resolving them. They regret the comments that they have posted, due to the emotional nature of the statements, they should not be considered factually accurate and ask that they be removed from all websites and that others disregard them.

Details on the nurses bizarre accusation now appear at the bottom of the web page called www.leonardladomd.com...a restraining order now in progress against this nurse due to psychological instability and escalating psychosis.

This individual has been investigated by the Collier Sheriff Department and the case was closed with no merit or truth to the allegations. It appears that this individual latches on to physicians and hospitals in an obsessive manner. An attorney is currently in the process of filing a libel and defamation case against this individual and the possibility that this individual may be committing a crime. The "Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act" for fiscal year 2006 contains one section entitled "Preventing Cyberstalking." Under the new law, the rules passed in the Communications Decency Act (CDA) to prevent harassment by telephone were extended to Internet communications as well. According to the new law, "Whoever...utilizes any device or software that can be used to originate telecommunications or other types of communications that are transmitted, in whole or in part, by the Internet... without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person...who receives the communications...shall be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both." It is truly unfortunate that this individual does not seek help as it appears from her allegations that she is unemployable. This individual has attempted to file federal complaints against a hospital in an attempt to obtain "easy money" by making fraudulent claims. This individual has never filed suit against me if these allegations were true. A background search on this individual has revealed that she harbors a criminal record. It would not be fair to this individual to disclose this information as it will further hurt her family and reputation. Therefore the motive does not appear to be financial but the result of a possible mental illness. The bizarre nature of her complaints appears to the result of a delusional disorder that can be treated. Individuals with delusional disorders can appear highly functional but suffer greatly with their thoughts. It is also unfortunate that this individual as a result of her obsessional thinking may have also jeopardized her family future if she is convicted of a crime of cyberstalking. A restraining order will be obtain from the courts to protect my self and my children from harm since the allegations have escalated and reached a dangerous and delusional levels. This individual has posted similar information in various blogs but have been immediately removed by the websites due to the defamatory and bizarre content. Mental illness are treatable diseases and is truly sad to see that it already has interfered in her ability to obtain employment on the basis of her allegations. Psychiatrist often become target from especially if these individuals had a bad treatment or outcome while under their care. The internet has many blessings but also can be dangerous when unfounded allegations are allowed to be published on this website. The information published is a double edge sword for the consumer as well as the people being reported. If this website is truly helping the consumer then the rebuttal needs to be allowed in its full content. This website may claim that the assassination of an individuals reputation, without validating the truth of the allegation , may not hold weight in court. However, the intent to profit from such false allegation is not only an act of subhuman proportion but a crime against the human spirit. Thank you.

I have serious doubts that Dr. Lado is even licensed. If I were that woman, I would find out if his license had been revoked in another state, and why. Perhaps he had a substance abuse problem-people act extremely out of control on drugs no matter what they do for a living.Stalking,child molestation,cheating,beating,self-indulgent-all of these characteristics are on par with bi-polar,drug addicts(street and script)and any man hopped up on himself(read:testosterone). If what she says truly is, she might consider plastering flyers all around her house and letting her neighbors in on who is stalking whom!

I AM KINDLY ASKING YOU TO REMOVE THIS SLANDEROUS REPORT WITH NO FOUNDATIONS FROM YOUR SIGHT. I HAVE ASKED MY ATTORNEY TO PURSUIT LITIGATION WITHIN 48 HOURS. I AM SURPRISED THAT YOU HAVE NOT RESEARCHED THE BACK GROUND OF SUCH ACCUSATION. THE CONTENT OF THE ACCUSATION ARE NOT ONLY BIZARRE BUT UNFOUNDED.I SURE WHO FILE SUCH REPORT BUT IF THESE THINGS REALLY OCCURED THE POLICE DEPARTMENT SHOULD HAVE A PUBLIC RECORD.
