Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went online, ordered $330 worth of linens & received conf.# 717844015B, but no shipping number to track the order. VISA card was billed on 7/25/07.

I have made numerous phone calls, e:mails, spoke with Stacy Pagan, Lisa DeJordy and Elena Santana. They don't answer your calls most of the time. The best shot you have of reaching someone is to call and choose to "place" an order. I understand Stacy Pagan no longer works there, but prior to leaving (if she left) she stated that my order was shipped on 8/21/07.

Lisa DeJordy, Customer Service Specialist, was the last person that I actually was able to speak to there. She seemed to want to help me, but in the end, she actually told me that she wasn't able to help me. She said that Elena Santana (who I was told was the owner), said that she needed to prove that I had not gotten a refund. These conversations actually took place in Oct. (4 months after I ordered the merchandise). Lisa also shared w/me that I wasn't the only complaint. She seemed frustrated having to take these calls.

Whoever is in charge seems to know how to work this system, because they strung me along past the time when I actually could have had VISA refund me my money. I did not know of the time issue w/VISA. VISA did in fact send a letter to Linens4You on my behalf and I have heard nothing from them.

I have also filed a complaint (Case #22150259)w/Better Business Bureau. They have sent 2 notices of my complaint. Received no response.

BBB stated that this company has an "unsatisfactory record" with the BBB due to unanswered complaints. The company has "resolved" some complaints, however, the company did not respond to "other complaints".

Complaints allege a delay in receiving merchandise after the consumer's credit card has been charged and then a delay in receiving a refund after the order has been cancelled. Complaints also allege that it is difficult to reach a customer service representative at the business.

Someone needs to put an end to this RIPOFF. I have every intention of seeking legal advice regarding my legal options of getting my money back, keeping others from being RIPPED OFF, Judgement, or getting them off the internet. It is the principal of the thing...and I am very big on "principals". They may just be surprised when I show up in Oregon with them in Court. I'm sure they think that I would not go to the lengths that I am willing to go to over $330.00. It is not about the money anymore...I don't want anyone else to be ripped off.

Elena currently owes me roughly $700 in unpaid wages. I worked for her in September last year. I worked HARD telling customers the same things you were told. "Just wait it out, you'll get your order, it's on backorder, something didn't go through, just keep waiting..." Sound familiar? Stacy didn't leave, she was BOOTED by Elena and I was hired as her replacement. Stacy suffered a tragic death in her family and attended a funeral and because of her absence, Elena hired me and gave Stacy the boot and never even told Stacy and NEVER told me or the other gal I worked with. She told me that Stacy would be back but she never came back, I was never told until just recently that I was actually Stacy's replacement. Elena IS the owner. She tells her employees to keep the customers calm and tell them to wait, wait, wait!! That is NOT any way to do business! I know because this is what I was told BY Elena herself. You are most definitely not the only ripped off and pissed off customer I wish more would come out of the wood works and tell everyone they were ripped off by Elena Santana!! Don't give up keep fighting! It's NOT about the money. It's about employees not getting paid and customers NOT getting their items and fighting for their refunds! Does this woman truly think that people will keep paying her hundreds of dollars for nothing and never say anything?? Or people will keep working for her for hours and hours and she won't have to pay them and they won't say anything either?

You may have to go to a lawyer and take this to court. I worked for this woman for 8 months and when I decided to quit because I wasn't receiving any pay she tried to drag my name through the mud. I too reported her to ripoff report among other places. After 51/2 weeks of fighting I finally received the 560.00 she owed me. She claims to have fired all of us who quit when the majority of us quit on her. She cannot manage her finances and her company has been in trouble since I worked for her from day one. She is a very dis honest person which is another reason I decided to quit. Even though I didn't have to deal with the customers I didn't like what I was hearing. She still owes many people money including 2 other ex employees. Keep fighting is all I can say. She needs to be shown that we will not be taken advantage of!! Good luck and keep us posted!!!
