I too was ripped off by Logo Works. The work they present in their portfolio was produced by artist outside of HP LogoWorks. What you will receive will not be creative, they will waste your time and won't return your money when you ask for a refund. This is because they pay their artist before they start the work. They will never look at your notes and will produce inferior work. I guess I should have know. Any good artist woudn't be working for LogoWorks so its partially my fault. Here is what you will get if you have LogoWorks create your logo. 1) You will pay in advance 2) You will be made promisses they won't keep 3) The work they will present you could do your self. You just need some free fonts off the web. What I received wasn't even close to professional. I have tried 3 similar firms before LogoWorks and they all turn out the same work. No creativity and just a font shop. The other three were kind enough to return my money but LogoWorks refused. As you can imagine, after dealing with 3 other companies I had very specific instructions on what I was looking for. I even provided images they should use as a guide. I specifically said I did not want just a bunch of logos in different types faces. I even made it a point to call them and talk to someone to make sure I would get what I wanted. I said clearly, 5 times, We don't just want our company name in different type faces. You have our concept, our website and the drawing you are to use as guides. We need a graphic not just fonts. "Will you be able to create what I want?" I asked. They replied yes, of course, no problem. What I received was 5 drawings that looked as if a high school student did them. One even had a baseball and bat. We are a technology company. Our product we wanted the logo for is a Legal Case Management application called HoudiniESQ. Our clients are DIA, NSA, Disney, and Bio tech firms here in RTP. What on earth does a base ball and bat have to do with what we do or with anything we gave you to use as a guide, I asked. Their reply was, "we think they are pretty creative" WTF! After going back and fourth on the phone, talking to managers I just gave up. I will never do business with HP or any company they are asscociated with ever again. Totally fustrated and ticekd off Frank Rivera LOGICBit Scicence and Technology corp.
